If Minnesota Falls To Trump, It’s A Landslide

By Rod Thomson

For my entire adult life, Minnesota has been a blue state, not even voting for President Ronald Reagan in 1984 when he won reelection in an electoral landslide. It’s the state that has given us Rep. Ilhan Omar and former Saturday Night Live diaper baby Sen. Al Franken, amongst other radical and weirdo leftists.

Barack Obama won Minnesota by more than 10 points in 2008 against John McCain and nearly 9 points in 2012 against Mitt Romney. Donald Trump surprisingly closed that margin to 2 points in 2016 when he swept through the Northern tier of states including winning Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania. In all of those states, Trump continues to close the gap in the polls. But Minnesota stands out.

The right-leaning Trafalgar Group two weeks ago released a poll showing a tie in Minnesota and an Emerson Poll has him within 3 points — with all polls showing Trump momentum. How could blue Minnesota that even Reagan couldn’t win be in play after four years of relentlessly negative media and government attacks on President Trump? The Democrat Party’s total disconnect with normal Americans as imagined by the George Floyd riots, or what New York Times starlet and apparent acting editor Nikole Hannah-Jones proudly  calls “the 1619 riots.”

Indeed, she is right. Her fictional account of American history coming to a school near you is emblematic of the Democrat Party’s general disdain for America and willingness to put up with, even encourage, rampaging lawlessness in American cities in the name of some sort of justice for somebody. They give every indication of welcoming the chaos as a fulcrum to leverage a hapless Joe Biden into the White House.

But this is exquisitely the case in Minnesota, and her largest city, Minneapolis, where the death of George Floyd touched off the fancifully-named “mostly peaceful protests” three months ago that destroyed large swaths of the neighborhood where the death occurred — a heavily minority neighborhood. In response, the mayor and governor of Minnesota sat idly by and watched, even abandoning a police precinct to the rioters. Democrat leaders held back the police and the National Guard for weeks.

Joe Biden, or whoever is running the show for him, embraced the suddenly revived Black Lives Matter movement, going so far as to contribute money to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, which was designed to bail Minnesota rioters, er, protestors, out of jail. Kamala Harris went to Twitter to urge people to donate to it. That fund gobbled up $35 million in donations to pay the bail of rioters. More chaos ensued.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

Among those bailed out by the Minnesota Freedom Fund is a man who allegedly shot at police, a woman accused of killing a friend and a twice convicted rapist. These were giant bails. The rapists’ was $350,000. All freed, along with hundreds of destructive rioters who went right back to burning, looting and mayhem.

More than a dozen members of Biden’s campaign staff contributed to the fund and Biden himself opposes requiring cash bail as a “modern day debtors prison” — echoing the radical far left. So he favors the catch-and-release of criminals, apparently even dangerous ones.

Again naturally, the communities most hurt by these Democrat antics were black communities. Law-abiding, business-owning, hard-working, non-rioting blacks saw their neighborhoods either destroyed or infested and reinfested with criminals. That has been duplicated around the nation, explaining in no small part Trump’s growing support among black Americans.

And now, six Democrat mayors in northern Minnesota just announced that they are formally endorsing President Donald Trump and will be voting for him. They agreed that after decades of voting Democrat, they believe Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has shown a lack of support for America’s working class.

Coronalessons cover

While the Democratic mayors’ defection to Trump seems to be more on economic and trade grounds, it adds to the reactionary groundswell against the riots by normal Americans and the reddening of Minnesota. Like Hillary Clinton’s lackluster campaign in the Midwest states, neither Biden nor running mate Sen. Kamala Harris has even visited Minnesota. Trump has. Repeatedly.

The Biden campaign has awakened to the realization that they do not have a lock on Minnesota, as it appeared just a few months ago. So Politico is reporting that today Biden will begin airing his first television ads in the state, in the major Twin Cities market as well as the secondary Duluth and Rochester markets. Further, Biden is now including Minnesota in a list of “battleground” states he said he wants to visit.

Labeling Minnesota a “battleground” state says everything you need to know about the presidential race at this moment. Even if Trump does not win, the fact that Biden is spending money and time on Minnesota reveals a campaign on the defense.

Democrats Fake News Media Postal Service Truth

Desperation Of Postal Hoax Is Hilarious

by Rod Thomson

It’s another week and so the Democratic Party and their Keystone Cops media allies have drummed up yet another reality-free, context-free, phony-baloney political crisis to scare the American public against re-electing President Trump. This one is a doozy, only missing green lizard people in tinfoil hatching from recently returned astronauts.

This faux crisis is the claim that President Trump — his dark eminence from which all evil emanates, also known as Beelzebub — is masterminding the slow strangulation of the United States Postal Service to steal yet another election. No word yet on the role that Putin is playing in the nefarious deed, but the intrepid defender of good, the New York Times, should be getting an anonymously sourced story out on that soon.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi is calling the House back for a special session this week to investigate the wicked doings. Barack Obama claimed Trump is trying to “actively kneecap” the USPS to suppress the vote. Joe Biden called it “bazarre!” And a couple members of Congress have written the FBI to seek a criminal investigation — as if those tin-foiled lizard people are subject to American laws. Sheesh!

I’m approaching this topic with all of the sobriety and seriousness it warrants. I can’t see how any serious Democrats are not red-faced embarrassed at this.

A major driver of this nutso conspiracy theory are reports that the USPS is decommissioning hundreds of mail-sorting machines. Which it is. For good reason. Overall mail volume has fallen 33% since 2006. “They’ve been taking machines out of service for years now, and I’ve been encouraging them to do it more aggressively,” Hamilton Davison, president of the American Catalog Mailers Association, told the Wall Street Journal. “I think that’s a good thing for America, because we don’t want to pay for stuff that we don’t need.”

It’s not like the Postal Service is a bastion of efficiency and profits. With only two-thirds of the volume it had in 2006, it ought to be decommissioning machines, boxes and maybe trucks and postal carriers.

“This conspiracy theory is the most far-flung thing I think I’ve ever heard,” says Stephen Kearney, who worked at the USPS for 33 years, finishing as senior vice president and treasurer. “(Postmaster General Louis) DeJoy was not appointed by President Trump.” The USPS’s bipartisan board of governors unanimously appointed him.  But he’s being dragged before Congress for yet another three-ring circus.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

“You can find valid operational reasons for the actions taken by the Postal Service so far,” says Mike Plunkett, another longtime USPS executive who now leads the Association for Postal Commerce. “In no way do I detect any criminality behind them, and I’m at a loss as to how one would reach that conclusion.”

Plunkett can only be at a loss by not paying attention to what has happened to the American media, left and Democratic Party in recent years.

Another element of the tin-foil lizard people conspiracy is that the USPS is driving around scooping up blue collection bins from sidewalks. This bit of quackery began in the Twitter insane asylum, where a photo of a truck picking up mail collection bins was made a central part of the conspiracy and got hundreds of thousands of retweets. The problem was that the truck clearly had old bins and new ones. It was replacing them. Actress Jamie Lee Curtis, tweeted a photo of a USPS truck on the back of a flatbed being driven away to further the plot — apparently unaware the mail delivery trucks can break down. Turns out though, better yet, it was photoshopped.

None of which stopped Joe Biden from poking his cob-webby head out of the basement to claim: “They’re going around literally with tractor trailers picking up mailboxes. I mean, it’s bizarre!”

Well, you may say, even if volume is way down and it makes sense to remove little-used collection bins, the timing sure is suspicious, right before an election that will have record mail-in voting.

Nope! This is the Keystone Cops portion.

An explainer post on the USPS website from Sept. 19, 2016 entitled “Where Have All The Collection Boxes Gone?” said: “Nationally, the number of collection boxes declined by more than 12,000 in the past 5 years…Some collection boxes are barely used and are expensive to maintain.”

Quick check of the calendar and…yup, Barack Obama was president for all five of those years when 12,000 boxes were taken off America’s streets.

Coronalessons cover

The Washington Post recently published a story headlined “Trump’s assault on the U.S. Postal Service gives Democrats a new campaign message.” News story. With all that is now known. Still called it “Trump’s assault.” But there we have it, all in a nice package and tied with a bow. It’s at least somewhat heartening that the Political Operations that have been ongoing between the Democrat Party and the media are now in the wide open. I mean, the Post headline of today would have been an internal Democrat memo of 10 years ago.

So Pelosi wants to pass a bill that “prohibits the Postal Service from implementing any changes to operations or level of service it had in place on January 1.” She also wants to shovel another $25 billion into the USPS, in addition to the $10 billion the USPS got from the Covid-19 funding.

Turns out, though, there may well be a conspiracy here! The letter-carriers union endorsed Joe Biden this past weekend at the same time that Democrats want to ensure in legislation there will be no cuts and $25 billion more cash.

Media Refuses To Cover Black Man’s Murder Of White Boy

Rod Thomson

The media continues to be the primary driver of racial divisions in America. The most recent example makes the blood boil, but perfectly demonstrates how coverage, and lack of coverage, drives a false narrative that results in American cities burning for a lie.

Five-year-old Cannon Hinnant was playing outside his father’s North Carolina house on a sunny Sunday afternoon, riding his bike with his two sisters, eight and seven years old. He apparently rode onto the lawn of the neighbor’s house, where Darius Sessoms lived. According to police reports and witnesses, Sessoms came out of his house with a handgun, went up to little Cannon, put the gun to his head and murdered him while his sisters were watching.

Sessoms jumped in his car and drove away, but was captured by indispensable law enforcement and arrested within 24 hours.

This is just a gut-wrenching story at multiple levels. And yet the mainstream media outside of Fox News has refused to cover it. Doing searches for NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, The New York Times, Reuters News Service and so on, you will not find a story on it. Only local media in North Carolina and some conservative outlets have covered it.

How does ignoring this story drive racial divisions? Compare the coverage of George Floyd’s death by Minneapolis police. That story could have been about a bad cop acting outrageously. Because that’s actually what happened. But because it was a white cop on a black man with video evidence, it became a giant national story and the media could not get enough.

The story of Cannon is more compelling in that he was not a convicted felon high on drugs and resisting arrest, not an excuse for the cop’s behavior but a bit of context. Cannon was a five-year-old boy executed for riding his bike. While white? That is what the media and Democrats would jump to if the races were reversed.

Some will argue that the Floyd killing represented the bigger issue of murderous police brutality against blacks. But that actually is not supported by the data.

A study by Roland Fryer Jr., a black professor of economics at Harvard University, found that there was not a disproportionate impact in terms of police shootings. Actually, the opposite.

After the 2014 Fergus, Mo., shooting of a black man by a white police officer, which touched off riots and destruction on a smaller scale after heavy media coverage of “hands up, don’t shoot” that never happened, Fryer and his assistants spent 3,000 hours assembling detailed police reports from several major cities. Their findings were that law enforcement officials “were more likely to fire their weapons without having first been attacked when the suspects were white.” Also, Fryer found that black and white civilians in these types of situations were equally likely to have a weapon on them.

After controlling for numerous other factors — so in basically similar situations — Fryer found that blacks were 27.4 percent less likely than whites to be fatally shot by police. Police have recognized, at least subconsciously, the higher negative impacts of shooting a black man than a white man for years now.

The media was fully aware of Fryer’s findings — which were subsequently reproduced — but after the Floyd killing, they went right back into the same mode. Meaning that they and their fellow-travelers in Black Lives Matter, Antifa, Socialist Party USA and other anti-American subversive organizations, ignored the data and focused on an anecdote that is duty-bound to whip up racial animosity.

But did you know that there actually is a major issue with violent black crime against white people?

According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics 2018 survey of criminal victimization, the latest year available, there were 593,598 interracial violent victimizations (excluding homicide) between blacks and whites last year. Blacks committed 537,204 of those interracial felonies, or 90 percent, and whites committed 56,394 of them, or less than 10 percent. That means blacks committed nine times more violence against whites than whites did against blacks. That’s a fairly compelling piece of data.

And while the media loves to make the fact-free claim that there is increasing Trump-inspired white supremacist violence against blacks, the opposite turns out to be true. In 2012-13, blacks committed 85 percent of all interracial victimizations between blacks and whites, while whites committed 15 percent. From 2015 to 2018, the total number of white victims and the incidence of white victimization have grown as well.

Interestingly, blacks are also much higher perpetrators of hate crimes by 50 percent, according to the Justice Department data from 2017. Whites are underrepresented at only 24 percent. This is particularly true for anti-gay and anti-Semitic hate crimes.

So absolutely none of the stories we see constantly from fatal police brutality to whites hunting blacks are true. In both of these cases, the opposite is true.

The actual story, and one that is uncomfortable and that the media will not report, is that black Americans are committing violent crime against white Americans at astronomically higher rates than the other way around. And police killings are so small as to be irrelevant.

If seeking a powerful anecdote to reflect a factual truth, the death of little Cannon is the proper one.

But better yet, the media and Democrats could just treat both the Floyd killing and the Cannon killings as individual bad people doing bad things where both were arrested and charged, and race does not play a role.

But the media does just the opposite. And American cities burn while large swathes of Americans think the lie is the truth.

Coronavirus Truth

Dear World: Florida Is Doing Fine

Rod Thomson

We have a friend who lives in London and has checked in on us to make sure we are OK. Why? Because we live in Florida and the international media, taking their cue from the national media, continues to report that Florida is boiling over with Covid cases and the state is overwhelmed. It’s one big triage.

A South Korean acquaintance of one of our children found out that we live in Florida and immediately had the same worries. Are you OK? They too had heard Florida is overwhelmed. Sigh.

Calm down, world. The media is, again, deceiving you. Florida is actually doing just fine, if you look at every single metric beyond new cases — which of  course are necessary in a pandemic.

Let’s start with some data at Worldometer, compiled from the CDC and WHO.

The chart above shows Florida ranks 24th in deaths per million among U.S. states at 273 per million residents, well under the U.S. average of 453 per million. The death rate in Florida is extraordinarily low. Note that this chart is tiny and hard to read because Florida is so far down the list of deaths.

That seems kind of relevant, doesn’t it? Good luck finding it in any “news” story. We need to start putting quotes around “news” because it is much more akin to Democrat operative spin than anything resembling news. Our friends in London don’t know this critical context because the reckless, partisan media in Florida and nationally only scream headlines on case count.

This chart above demonstrates clearly that Florida hospitals are nowhere near being overwhelmed by Covid patients. This is a far more relevant metric than case count.

Hospitalizations and medical facilities are not being overrun. Not even close. Hospital bed usage is very low and ICU bed usage is low. In fact, even taking the worst case projections at this point, usage remains well below capacity for hospital beds, and only at the very worst does it move beyond ICU capacity — which I identified in the chart — without hospitals making adjustments for surge capacity, which they would.

Even in the case rate, the only real scare tactic that can be used, Florida ranks 5th in the U.S., behind Louisiana, New York, Arizona and New Jersey. Anyone around the world terrified for friends in those states? The problem is that this metric is heavily dependent on testing. Florida is testing more than 100,000 daily now (it’s never clear if those are actual people or tests administered, but either way it’s a lot) and many states that had heavy Covid loads early missed untold thousands because testing was limited two to three months ago.

So the comparison is weak, yet still there are four other states worse than Florida.

Next we get to the totally screwed up death totals.

The chart above, compiled by Issues & Insights shows the totally wonked system of reporting deaths, as they come in late and in odd bunches, painting a ridiculously inaccurate picture of what is happening in Florida. There is definitely an increase in deaths in the state, but nothing like the spike being reported.

Part of the reason for this is that there was no system in place when Covid hit and so it fell to government agencies to quickly and efficiently create a system to help the medical profession in reporting deaths. Well come on, that was doomed to fail before it started. The reporting may be improving, but slowly.

Timely reporting of deaths must improve if they are going to be released daily. If they were released weekly even, it would be a much more accurate picture. But the media would howl about cover-ups and whatever other nonsense they conjured.

And finally, the much ballyhooed Rt factor is now below 1 in Florida, meaning the virus spread is on the decline, at least at the moment. The Rt factor is watched closely by geeks because it purports to be able to measure how quickly the virus is spread. According to the World Economic Forum, “The R number is a key factor in gauging the coronavirus pandemic. It refers to the ‘effective reproduction number’ of COVID-19. An R value of 1 is a crucial threshold.”

Being below 1 means the spread is under control. Again, at the moment, but remember, this is supposedly the moment when everything is going crazy in Florida.

And an interesting event happened yesterday. Another jurisdiction mandated face masks, this time the Republican-dominated Manatee County Commission, in Florida. During her presentation pushing for the mask mandate, Dr. Jennifer Bencie, director of the Florida Department of Health in Manatee County, told commissioners that the local medical community estimates as much as 48 percent of Manatee County residents may be asymptomatic or pre-symptomatic and spreading the coronavirus. That is an astounding assertion.

Bencie falls into the category of expert we are instructed to listen to. Since the experts say herd immunity is achieved at around 70 percent, although it varies from disease to disease depending on contagiousness and may be a little higher for Covid, then actually this is very good news. It would mean we are more than two-thirds of the way toward herd immunity already in Manatee County, which is by far not the hardest hit place in Florida. If true, this could explain both the “wave” of new cases (mostly just identifying what already is, or was) and the promising Rt factor.

Look, Covid is very dangerous for a very small part of our population. That is true with many diseases. The great thing is that we know exactly who is at risk and can protect them. Treatments are improving rapidly. For the vast, vast majority, it is another disease that is part of life. About half of people, apparently, don’t even show symptoms. Some feel sick, a few very sick. And a tiny, tiny percentage die.

But all of the data relayed here paints a picture of Florida that is wildly different than the media is feeding to the rest of America and the world. So to all of our friends around the world, Florida is doing fine, thank you.

Behind The Goya Boycott Is The Legacy Media

Rod Thomson

The rolling fallout of the Cancel Culture targeting Goya Foods is the perfect education point for the dynamics of how the loudest, angriest fringes on Twitter leverage the agenda-driven media to create hysterical responses devoid of context or rationality.

It all started at a routine Rose Garden affair last week when the CEO of Goya Foods Robert Unanue spoke at the White House’s Hispanic Prosperity Initiative along with President Trump. Unanue said the blasphemous unthinkable: The United States was “blessed” to have a leader like Trump “who is a builder.” Unanue’s grandfather was a builder who came to America — via  Spain and Puerto Rico — and where he ended up starting Goya Foods in New Jersey. Unanue has an obvious and understandable fondness for builders.

Of course no one is allowed to say something even nuanced about the President, let alone actually nice, without the leftist hordes of haters raining down a fiery hail of digital and financial destruction on them. On Twitter, hashtags like #BoycottGoya began quickly emerging.

But remember, Twitter is actually a very loud, but small insular bubble representing a tiny, tiny fraction of Americans (and a bunch of bots and innumerable trolls.) But it is also highly prized confirmation space by the old media. Journalists love their likes and retweets and they provide the Twitter outrage mob with outsized influence by greatly inflating trends. They seem to think Twitter represents America — or at least it does when it coincides with their openly partisan agendas.

So the New York Times wrote a huge story about the Goya boycott effort, the Washington Post helpfully gave a list of alternatives to Goya (not partisan at all) while Vox used their popular “explainer” method to report on it. The CNN dumpster fire of journalism ran with multiple stories, such as “Goya was a staple in Latino households. It likely won’t be anymore” and “Goya CEO’s support for Trump leaves many Latinos feeling sting of betrayal.” As to the alleged journalism portion, CNN’s conclusion of “many Latinos” is represented by a Democratic politician and a “brand influencer.” My gosh this is disgraceful. (Hat tip to Steve Krakauer for assembling the stories by the media in his email blast.)

How about some perspective? First, we don’t even know if Unanue is political or a Trump supporter. Unanue was invited by President Obama to the White House and said nice things. In fact, he repeatedly praised Obama. Of course, no right-winger suggested he should be canceled and financially damaged for it. No one said boo. Conservatives think differently than progressives.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

And more: While the media and all progressives like to treat every race and ethnicity (other than whites, interestingly and tellingly) as all thinking and acting alike, which is obvious bigotry, Trump won 33% of the Latino vote. More than four million Hispanics voted for him in 2016.

But this gained huge traction because the legacy media pants after what the Twitter mob gins up and then amplifies it greatly. They gauge what is finding traction on the loud left, then use their blow horns to magnify that issue.

We should remember that the point of boycotts, such as this one against Goya, is not just aimed at that product or company, but they are to send the broad message intimidating and bullying CEOs everywhere into not being seen with President Trump, saying anything positive about him, or advertise on conservative media outlets.

It’s an integral part of Cancel Culture.

Fortunately, there is also a counterpunch movement known as “Buycott Goya” aimed at stocking up on Goya products to blunt the boycott.

But it is all the result of the legacy media absorbing and greatly amplifying the Twitter rage that represents very little of America.

Never-Trumper GOPers: Wake Up! It’s Trump Or Anarcho-Socialism

By Cathi Chamberlain

This may come as a surprise to Republicans who have been sabotaging our President since the day he announced his candidacy over five years ago, your party couldn’t have won without him. Not in 2016. And, certainly not in 2020.

I’m intentionally not directing this message to those on the left. We know how hard they’ve worked to overthrow Trump. They have their political reasons, some justifiable, others not so much. But their idol, Saul Alinsky, teaches them that war must be won by any means necessary. And, they’ve learned well.

Rather, I’m talking directly to the GOP establishment. Those who’ve been working from within the White House, and from without, to undermine our President every step of the way. I’m angry with you. From whoever wrote the pompous op-ed in the New York Times under the pseudonym “Anonymous” to those Republicans who allowed the phony witch hunt to progress relatively unimpeded.

As former Attorney General Jeff Sessions tries to retake his old Senate seat in Alabama, he wants voters to believe that he did everything allowable under the law to protect our President. He says he had no other choice but to recuse himself when the Dems pressured him to do so. Really? I beg to differ.

At the very least he had an obligation to advise Trump against choosing him as Attorney General precisely because Sessions had a possible conflict of interest. But, he didn’t do that. Instead, he took the job then buckled under the left’s demands without as much as a whimper. He cowered.

The once-respected Senator from Arizona, John McCain, has always been a difficult target to criticize. Who relishes denigrating a Vietnam War POW, after all? Trump did and lost the support of many veterans. Yet, we now know McCain as having been the tie-breaking thumbs down vote to repeal Obamacare. I wrote about the many questionable acts made by the Senator during his career in my March 30, 2019 blog entitled, “McCain, Hero or Traitor?” I, too, lost some veteran friends after writing that. While I wouldn’t call McCain a “coward”, his many betrayals of conservative principles over the years is hard to ignore, if one wants to be truthful.

More egregious was McCain’s eagerness to share the fake Steele dossier with the FBI. It was a betrayal of his own party. Of course he understood that. He didn’t go to his party’s President to get the story straight. He went under the radar to deliver it where it would cause the most damage.

Both McCain and his wife announced their refusal to support Trump in 2016 shortly before the elections. Nothing has changed today. His wife and daughter have recently indicated they won’t vote for Trump in 2020, either. Who, exactly, do they think they are hurting?

When General Mattis, backed by other globalist military officers, accused the President of causing the division resulting in rioting and looting of our cities today, typical RINO Senators Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney jumped on the anti-Trump bandwagon.

Such betrayals and cowardice by the above-mentioned are almost understandable. At least these politicians have been open with their opinions. And, they ought to all be voted out of the party. At least they give voters that option. It’s the insidious Republican GOP establishment cowards that I’m most angry with.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

It’s no secret, for those who’ve read my book or heard my speeches, that I was a diehard Independent-registered voter prior to Donald J. Trump entering the political landscape. As I write in the prologue of Rules for Deplorables: A Primer for Fighting Radical Socialism, I would not have become a Republican had it not been for him entering the race. And, I’m hardly an anomaly.

As an indoctrinated Democrat during my fifteen years living in Los Angeles during the eighties and nineties, I began my move to the center once Ross Perot’s ideology sunk in. I remained an Independent for the next 23 years. I grew ever more disillusioned with the Dems’ dirty fighting and ever-increasing lack of principles and ethics. But, I couldn’t bring myself to become a Republican either. My reasons varied, but were mostly because I failed to see much unity in the party. The truth is, as an insider now, it seems even worse.

Most alarmingly, I’ve witnessed GOP “old guard” Republicans fighting Republican Trump loyalists over the most idiotic of reasons. Do they not see what trouble our country is in? Have they no idea that Election Day 2020 will determine whether our country remains free-market or socialist? Are they unaware that, should Republicans lose in November, the Democrats will ensure that a fair vote will never again be recorded? It will not just be a loss for Trump. It will be the end of America. And, for certain, it will spell the death of the Republican Party. Please tell me you Republicans are not so obsessed with power that you are missing that very obvious point.

Recently, I received notice from a Republican leader telling me to no longer post another Republican leader’s articles on Facebook. I was dumbfounded. As it turned out, she felt the latter was too harsh in his push back of the left’s support of Antifa’s and the Black Lives Matters’ militant tactics and language. He let it be known. I deemed it refreshing and much-needed. That his straight-from-the-hip strategy would pit a fellow Republican against him was alarming enough. That she would air her grievance publicly via the local newspaper was appalling to me. Indeed, it was a good reminder why I had remained an Independent for so long.

In my book, I explain Alinsky’s tactics by using current events. His book, Rules for Radicals, was written in the early seventies and includes thirteen tactics for the left to use against Conservatives in an effort to transform America to socialism. It was a blockbuster then and remains in many colleges today indoctrinating our kids to hate this country.

My book relates how Democrats use those tactics against Trump and Republicans. Some Republicans use them, too. Not against the Dems, except for some notable Congressmen like Jim Jordan, Andy Biggs, Marsha Blackburn, and a few others. Rather, many use it against their own, including against President Trump.

The usual suspects are Romney and Murkowski. But, the truly disappointing Representatives are those who pick and choose arguments with the President specifically to make political points in their home districts or for future power grabs. They couch their anti-Trump positions with absurdly indefensible arguments supposedly centered on “ethics” or “principles”. They’ve evidently never learned that the left follows Alinsky’s eleven rules of ethics, too. One rule dictates that if the goal to be achieved is of utmost important, ethics can be thrown out the window.

Trump fights the left using Alinsky tactics and rules of ethics. It’s exactly why he is so popular with the American people. When he punches back, we thank him for it while many in his own party deride him for being “unpresidential”. That’s idiotic. The only way we will save our country from the corrupt globalists who are nearing success at destroying America is to punch back.

Every time Republicans side with Democrats in criticizing Trump, or against each other, they empower the left. They believe this is “business as usual”. It’s not. If they understood that socialism would be the end result should the Dems win in November, they’d back Trump 100% of the time with 100% of his proclamations, actions, and tweets. There’d be no disparity within the party. Instead, they are playing their infantile, cowardice games of immediate gratification.

The absolute epitome of Republican weak-kneed decision-making happened the week leading up to Independence Day. The current battle being fought in the streets of America involves rioters controlled by the left and law enforcement backed by Trump. As our history is being rewritten before our eyes, with the tearing down of statues and renaming of streets, several lawmakers proved their supreme cowardice.

Juneteenth, the official commemoration day of the emancipation of slaves, was barely mentioned by former President Obama, if ever. Yet, as the left has been using the death of George Floyd as their flashpoint for division, several Republicans have bowed to pressure from a minority of constituents. According to Breitbart, “Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), who is up for reelection this year, sponsored a bipartisan bill to make Juneteenth a federal holiday.”

Not to be out-pandered, Republican Senators Ron Johnson and James Lankford decided that the cost of adding a new holiday must be off-set by the elimination of another. They chose Columbus Day. Could they have been more transparently appeasing?

Coronalessons cover

Contrast their bone-headed capitulation to the left’s never-ending demands to President Trump’s decisive move to deliver a powerful speech in front of Mount Rushmore. In it, he beseeched all Americans to stand strong against the left’s erasure of our history and destruction of our monuments. There could not have been a starker difference between his pro-America platform and the Republican establishment’s pro-self, destructive behavior. These Senators should be ashamed of themselves.

The Republican Party has consisted of puppets of the left’s master plan to destroy America for decades. Because of men like Lankford, Johnson, Cornyn and others just like them, our country is in tatters today. These Republicans are weak compromisers. We are on the precipice of losing our country for God’s sake. Trump understands that and is doing everything he can to unite Americans behind him. Will we wake up before it’s too late?

From the moment Trump entered the White House, never-Trumpers and self-aggrandizing Republicans have been sabotaging our President. They are either globalists or are simply putting their careers above the survival of our country. Either way, they’re quickly losing the respect of the very Americans who would consider siding with them. What these betrayers don’t seem to understand is that Trump supporters aren’t Republican die-hards anymore, even if they’ve been registered to that party their entire lives. Trump supporters are Make-America-Great-Again believers first and foremost. As such, they back the President 100%.

If it’s one thing Trump-supporting Republicans and Independents and many, many newly-transformed Democrats have earned throughout Trump’s presidency, it’s that politicians of both sides have failed them. And, Trump has not.

Here is the cold, hard truth Republicans: if you don’t unite behind Trump before the election, and he loses, you can kiss your party goodbye. If the “old guard” establishment doesn’t reach out to Trump supporters in a more united, welcoming way, they will lose in the end. If they don’t stop their immature internal bickering over the small stuff, they will lose. If they do not figure out that this election is about saving our country from socialism, their party will be no more.

While these lukewarm Trump backers complain about Trump’s tweets often and harshly, this tweet on July 3rd from our President sums up the state of our union: “My fellow Americans, it is time to speak up loudly, strongly, and powerfully—and defend the integrity of our country.”

Fellow Republicans, as someone who has toured the state of Florida for the past year speaking about the dangers of losing our country to socialism, trust me when I say our party is in danger. Contrary to what you may believe, it is not a party of Republican die-hards. A majority of your party today are Trump loyalists who are tired of those within your ranks who put personal ambitions over Trump.

I feel I speak for many like-minded voters when I plead with you now to reign in those who are refusing to line up 100% behind our President in order to save our country. He is urging Americans to “speak up loudly, strong, and powerfully”. For doing so, no Republican should ever be silenced, ridiculed, or targeted, least not by another Republican.

To you Republican establishment “old guard” who don’t believe we are facing the grave danger of becoming socialist should we lose the upcoming election, I promise you this: if Trump does not win in November, you will never earn my vote again. I’m begging you now to unite, before it’s too late.

The Lack Of Constitutional Standing For Interstate Quarantines

By Dr. Julio Gonzalez

You can’t order quarantines forever, and at some point a state of medical emergency becomes a new reality.

In an article last updated yesterday, The Wall Street Journal reported that New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut have instituted a mandate requiring travelers from states they designate as “experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases,” to observe a 14-day quarantine upon arrival.

This mandate that took effect on midnight Wednesday carries with it varying consequences for non-compliance.  In New York, a first-time violation merits a fine of $2,000.00 with subsequent violations earning fines of $5,000.  Higher penalties would be enforced if the non-compliance caused harm.  In Connecticut, there will be no fine, and in New Jersey, the quarantine would take the form of an “advisory.”

There’s one overarching problem with these mandated quarantines.  They’re of questionable constitutional legality.

Following our independence from England, our nation stood as an inept giant. Yes, it was young.  It was also financially broke, but perhaps even more importantly a powerless Congress led it.  Under the Articles of Confederation, our first system of government, the states created a very loose alliance of sovereigns, so loose in fact that they were able to impose harsh restrictions upon each other.  Each state could print its own currency, ignore other states’ currencies, and restricted interstate travel and commerce.  Protectionist laws casting advantages to those citizens living within each state at the expense of their fellow countrymen loomed large, and there was nothing Congress could do about it.  Such divisions could never work, and it is for this very reason that the nation’s leaders convened a Constitutional Convention with the aim of preventing the disintegration and fractionalization of the young confederacy.  Protections against limitations in travel and interstate commerce were chief amongst the corrective measures implemented in the new Republic’s founding document.

Clearly, a state restricting an individual to a certain location for a fortnight simply because he or she is from a targeted state acts in a manner repugnant to interstate commerce and individual travel rights.  The Supreme Court was explicit in this regard when it decided Saenz v. Roe, (1999).  Here, the Court ruled that there are constitutionally prescribed travel protections including “the right of a citizen of one State to enter and to leave another State, the right to be treated as a welcome visitor rather than an unfriendly alien when temporarily present in the second state, and for those travelers who elect to become permanent residents, the right to be treated like other citizens of that State.”  Mandatory interstate quarantines violate all three.

It is true that the governments may claim certain latitudes during times of crisis. For example, Congress is given the authority to suspend the privilege of Habeas corpus, “when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require.”  And the states are afforded certain liberties if “actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.”  But these contentions do not apply to a pandemic.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

President Trump declared a health emergency regarding SARS-CoV-2 on March 11, over 90 days ago.  Since that time, we have been able to establish that there is no imminent exhaustion of our medical supplies.  Despite “surges” in certain states, the nation’s daily new-case rate has flattened. As of this writing, the nation’s daily death rate has not been this low since March 30.  In New York, arguably the state guilty of the nation’s worse COVID-19 mismanagement, there were a mere 742 new cases on June 23, the lowest since March 17, and the daily death rates rival those of March 22.

In the meantime, in Florida, one of those states experiencing a surge, the number of new cases for June 24 was 5,511, but the number of deaths was 45.  And to add to the inconsistency in the data, New York carries a 1,611 death per million rate compared to Florida’s 153, and an active case per million rate of 294,660 compared to Florida’s 84,570.

Adding to the absurdity, Florida presently has a quarantine still in place for visitors from New York similar to the quarantine New York implemented against Floridians on Wednesday, albeit it Florida’s is voluntary one, begging the question just who needs to be protected from whom?

As I explain in my book, Coronalessons, obtrusive interventions such as quarantines, shutdowns, and border closures only work to keep the virus out of a country.  But in America, the virus is already here. In Coronalessons, I also observe the Constitution, miraculous as it may be, is a very fragile document, easily ripped and irreparably destroyed.  The right to freely move from one state to another and engage in interstate commerce is one of the hallmarks of our Constitution. Although it may be appropriate to briefly restrict our interstate travel in the name of safety, morale, health, or welfare, prolonging these restrictions, as we are presently doing, threatens to hurt us much more than it will aid us.

The only real interventions we can take until the development of a vaccine or definitive treatment is for the elderly and the infirm to observe social distancing measures, for all of us to engage in frequent hand-washing, surface sanitation and mask use when in public places.  More aggressive interventions are mere opportunities for governments and people in authority to extend their ambits of power.  It is time for us to end these random and capricious interstate quarantines.

America, The Not Racist

Rod Thomson

Thinking Americans might rightly ask: Why are we so hyper focused on anti-racism right now? Deadly serious. Because the actual evidence is that America, in 2020, is not only the least racist that it has ever been in our history, but it is almost assuredly the least racist nation ever. Yes, ever

It’s actually pretty easy to demonstrate this. The fact that throngs in the streets and online do not know it, see it, or are not willing to listen to it, suggests that none of this is about black lives mattering or anti-racism, in the same way that Antifa is not about opposing fascists.

Without cobbling together a labyrinth of underlying conspiracies, here are the base elements to demonstrate conclusively the lack of racism in America. Perceptions of racism against black Americans are real, but actual racism? Virtually non-existent and getting ever better.

Here we go.

— AMERICA’S STORYLINE. I’ve mentioned this before in a video, but our progress over time, from our founding in 1776 until May 2020 is undeniably one of ever increasing freedoms and equality.

1776 — Freedom from a distant tyrant king, representative government by and for the people. So we moved from being colonies under the heel of an empire to being a free people, with one giant exception.

1865 — End of slavery, freedom for all blacks in the South. This horrifically bloody struggle corrected the exception from 1776 that all the American people were free.

1964 — Equality for blacks under all of the laws, the end of Jim Crow. This was the final step in eradicating the exception issue from 1776. Now every American was required to be treated equally under the law.

2008 — Election of the first black president, and reelection in 2012. With all of the laws fixed, this seemed like the final cultural hurdle — electing a black president. This was the first time in the history of the world that a nation chose for it’s leader someone from a small, once-persecuted minority. This was new in history in so many ways and the opposite of what a systemically racist country would do.

There is simply no way to look at these pinnacles of historic points and not see that the trendline in America has been toward ever increasing equality and ever declining racism — both under the law and culturally.

— SUCCESSES

Where to start? In addition to electing a black president, twice, the United States has had black Supreme Court justices, black U.S. Senators and members of Congress, black governors of states, black mayors of cities and black titans of business.

A black American, Gen. Colin Powell, once headed the world’s most powerful military. Black Americans are among the world’s most famous personalities, and some black Americans have achieved status among the world’s richest people such as billionaire investor Robert F. Smith, and billionaire IT service provider David Steward, billionaire entertainer and author Oprah Winfrey — three of five black American billionaires.

In overall terms of financial success, black Americans lag behind Asian, white and Hispanic Americans, in that order. However, compared to the rest of the world, if all of the earnings and expenditures of black Americans were totalled up, they would rank in the top 20 richest nations on earth, according to black George Mason economist Walter Williams. It’s a funky measurement, because they are a subset of the United States, but it’s worth noting.

According to the 2019 Multicultural Economy Report from the University of Georgia:

“African-American buying power has seen impressive gains since the end of the last economic downturn, jumping from $961 billion in 2010 to an estimated $1.3 trillion in 2018. Since 2000, the African-American market has seen a 114 percent increase in buying power.”

The report attributes this jump to a surge in black-owned businesses, increased education and a growing population. For instance, the percentage of African-Americans who completed college continues to rise, from 17 percent in 2000 to 23 percent in 2017.

Ongoing, systemic, oppressive racism simply could not exist in the same country as all of these successes.

— IMMIGRATION

I wrote about this key point in 2017 in a Revolutionary Act article titled America is Not Racist, According to Millions of Eager African Immigrants. The thrust of the piece was that if we count people voting with their feet, America is pretty welcoming to blacks — rather the opposite of racist.

“…maybe the best measure of where America really stands in the world comes from the choices of black African immigrants. Native Sub-Saharan Africans, by their actions of free movement, seem to have judged that America is not racist — or is perhaps the least racist country in the world offering the greatest opportunities.

“This conclusion stems from one breathtaking fact: America is the most popular immigration destination for Africans. More than European nations, than Asia nations, than South American nations. More than any other country in the world. It’s not even close. Further, America is becoming geometrically more popular with black Africans every decade.”

A New York Times story in 2014 outlined this phenomena as a demographic shift without acknowledging, or maybe even recognizing, the broader implications. Within the story was this astounding number comparison:

“Between 2000 and 2010, the number of legal black African immigrants in the United States about doubled, to around one million. During that single decade, according to the most reliable estimates, more black Africans arrived in this country on their own than were imported directly to North America during the more than three centuries of the slave trade.”

A Washington Post story in 2013 revealed that America was one of the least racist countries in the world when measured by people saying who they would want as neighbors. Americans were more comfortable with neighbors from other races than almost any other country in the world.

The arc of American history continues to bend toward freedom and equality (at least it did until May 2020.) And the stats on American attitudes toward interracial marriages and mixed race neighborhoods, combined with America being the choice of black immigrants from Africa, all add up to there being very strong evidence that America is the least racist country on earth and becoming more so all the time.

Democrats Trump Truth

Generals Attack Trump as Democrats Plead for U.N. Interference

By Cathi Chamberlain

If you think the Democrats have gone off the rails with their newest call to defund the police, you’d be wrong. It’s just the latest step in the left’s long-plotted scheme to transform America to socialism. We are one election away. If we react to this wrongly, we are done as a country of law and order.

Last week, President Trump put out a call to send in the troops. Not the National Guard, the military. As if on cue, the typical “deep state” military brass emerged to condemn him as unstable. Many of you recoiled in agreement. Once again, as if on cue, you believed everything they said. Have you learned nothing over the past four years?

The Washington Post published an article headlined, “How Mattis reached his breaking point — and decided to speak out against Trump”. This was designed to make Americans believe General Mattis is a patriot above all else. His supposed “long” silence, as the article explained, earned him a badge of honor. But, is that really deserved?

To believe Mattis kept silent previously is simply a lie. I wrote about his controversial resignation in my book, Rules for Deplorables: A Primer for Fighting Radical Socialism (RFD). After “Trump announced his decision for a troop withdrawal from Syria, Mattis vehemently and publicly opposed. In his resignation letter [December 2018], Mattis wrote that, ‘[B]ecause you have the right to have a Secretary of Defense whose views are better aligned with yours on these and other subjects, I believe it is right for me to step down from my position.” (RFD, pg. 205) Gee, general, thanks for your duty to country.

Mattis knew Trump’s policy well before he joined the President’s team. So, why accept the position in the first place? “The naysayers claim[ed] that as Mattis’ commander, Trump should listen to his generals. Hogwash. Just because a soldier has reached the rank of general, does not make him right on all issues.” (RFD, pg. 207) (For more on how Mattis betrayed his Commander-in-Chief, read my blog from August 31, 2019 entitled, “General Mattis IS the Resistance”.)

Did Mattis fade away into retirement and stoically withhold speaking against his Commander-in-Chief? No. He wrote a book, remember?

Within just six months, in a tell-all no less, he accused the President of being internally divisive especially via his tweeting. “What concerns me most,” Mattis wrote, “is not our external adversaries; [i]t is our internal divisiveness.” In other words, he blamed Trump for all things racist in America. Never mind that Obama stoked racial flames and increased division in our country at every turn.

According to the author of an article entitled, “How Obama Left Us More Racially Divided Than Ever”, one’s opinion of our country is determined by how one views American history. “If you think America is a land of oppression instead of a land of freedom, you will sow social discord. That’s President Obama’s legacy.” I agree. It also explains why we are witnessing such turmoil in our Democrat-controlled cities today. Democrats tend to see the evils in America, Republicans see the good.

With the benefit of hindsight, then, who was right about Syria? The answer may help us understand how best to quell the unrest in our own cities today.

Coronalessons cover

Because of Trump’s pull-out and harsh sanctions against Syria, preventing nearly every country in the world from enabling Assad financially, nearly 80% of his people are now living in abject poverty. Protesters are chanting “[h]e who starves his people is a traitor.” Indeed, Trump’s strategy has not only weakened Assad himself in the region, it has caused massive hardships for his benefactors, our enemies Russia and Iran.

Our President’s policy in Syria could well represent what should become the “Trump Doctrine”; and, it may be remembered as far more effective than anything any general has done during our 18-year war in the Middle East. Will it work here at home?

On June 1, at an impromptu speech in the Rose Garden, Trump threatened to use the Insurrection Act of 1807 to quell the violence in our cities. Shortly after, he made the now-infamous walk to Washington, D.C.’s historic St. John’s Episcopal Church.

General Mattis immediately attacked Trump, accusing the President of trying “to divide us”. He added that, we “are witnessing the consequences of three years of this deliberate effort. We are witnessing the consequences of three years without mature leadership”. Wow. That sounds suspiciously like the New York Times’ op-ed letter by “Anonymous” several years ago.

Part of that letter, if you recall, criticized Trump for being immature. “Anonymous” stated that Trump’s “erratic behavior would be more concerning if it weren’t for unsung heroes in…the White House…. [I]n this chaotic era…Americans should know that there are adults in the room….” (RFD, pg. 191). Could the letter have been referring to Mattis as one of the “unsung heroes”? If true, he’s more dangerous than I thought.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

Mattis has also now said that “[w]e must reject and hold accountable those in office who would make a mockery of our Constitution.” Hold accountable? Sounds like a set-up for Trump’s arrest once out of office.

The New York Post reports: “Under the Civil War-era Posse Comitatus Act, federal troops are prohibited from performing domestic law enforcement actions such as making arrests, seizing property or searching people. In extreme cases, however, the president can invoke the Insurrection Act, which allows the use of active-duty or National Guard troops for law enforcement.” It sounds as though Trump would be within his right to send in the troops should things get further out-of-control.

Other top brass weighed in this week to criticize Trump, e.g., former secretaries of defense Ash Carter and William Perry. Carter, a Republican, served under Obama. In 2017, he wrote that if soldiers acted like Trump, he would have “fired people”. No love lost there.

Perry, who served under Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, criticized Trump in 2017 for his supposed reckless handling of North Korea, saying he was bringing us closer to a nuclear war. I guess he was wrong.

Former chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Martin Dempsey, Mike Mullen, and Richard Myers have piled on, too. Dempsey, another Obama loyalist, railed against Trump in 2017 for the President’s plans to pardon some of our military’s finest warriors. Most had been convicted of war crimes while balancing trying to save fellow soldiers against impossible rules of engagement imposed by Obama. Dempsey called Trump’s pardons a “Bad message. Bad precedent. Abdication of moral responsibility. Risk to us.” Soldiers be damned. Trump did it anyway.

Mike Mullen served under George W. Bush and Obama. In 2017, he condemned Trump’s “talk of ‘fire and fury’” as bad diplomacy with our adversaries.

Richard Myers now says he’s “glad” he didn’t have to work for Trump. I’m sure the feeling is mutual.

Other prominent voices condemning Trump this past week have come from Mitt Romney, Colin Powell, Lisa Murkowski, and John McCain’s widow. Like those mentioned above, all have one thing in common: hatred for Donald J. Trump. That should tell us all everything we need to know.

The most revealing comment about Trump’s threat to use the military to retake our cities, though, came from former U.S. Forces-Afghanistan commander Gen. John Allen. He said that, “The slide of the United States into illiberalism may well have begun on June 1, 2020. Remember the date. It may well signal the beginning of the end of the American experiment.” Did you catch that? Trump’s handling of the violent protests, to him, demonstrates an anti-liberal intention.

Indeed, every one of these anti-Trumpers is known for the same globalist leanings as shared by liberals. Thus, whether they call themselves Republicans, Independents, or Democrats, their ideologies gel. That commonality has hijacked the killing of George Floyd in a very dangerous way.

On June 3, the Floyd family sent a letter to the United Nations pleading for intervention. “When a group of people of any nation have been systematically deprived of their universal human right to life by its government for decades, it must appeal to the international community for its support and to the United Nations for its intervention,” Floyd’s family attorney Ben Crump said in a press release. This, my fellow Americans, is what all the hoopla is about. And if you think it is not orchestrated by leftist Democrats — and not the Floyd family — you have not been paying attention.

The generals, the Democrats, the Republican elitists, the Democrat Socialists, and the “deep state” are working together towards one common goal and President Trump knows it: a One World Government or New World Order. Defunding the police is a priority.

In their letter, the Floyd family asked the UN “for its help in disarming police officers in the United States of America.” The left is driving the players to reach that very outcome. Could that be why the generals are so vehemently against Trump calling up the military? And, whose side would the military take, the generals or Trump’s?

In Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals, written in the 70s, he describes thirteen tactics for the left to use in transforming America to socialism. Tactic #10, “the major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure on the opposition”, is upon us. The formation of Antifa and Black Lives Matter began years ago. I warned about them in my book. The attempted coup of Trump’s Administration, the impeachment investigations, the over-exaggerated shut-downs based on phony models, and now the attacks by the generals were all timed to culminate in a complete destruction of the American free-market system. If Venezuela is any example, the transformation could be quick.

It’s no accident that the cities hit hardest by the pandemic, riots, looting and calls for defunding police are all controlled by Democrats. Everything happening now is a three-fold gain. The citizens want free stuff. The Democrat leaders of these cities and states are goading Trump hoping he’ll be blamed for the chaos and lose the election. He cannot fall for that. But, for the top brass and leaders of the country, the goal is on a much grander scale.

President Trump knows this. If you refuse to believe Democrats would sell out their own people, congratulations. You’re playing right into their hands. Alinsky instructs his followers to win by any means necessary. Ethics be damned.

If our President understands Alinsky tactics the way I believe he does, he already has his strategy by using the left’s tactics against them. And, his threat to send in the military will be his last and final move. Before that, however, he has plenty of less risky options available. Among them are Alinsky’s tactics #4 and #11. It’s the only way to win this battle and I believe he knows it.

First, he must allow the blue states to completely fail. Yes, even if it means allowing them to defund their police.

Tactic #4 means to “make the enemy live up to their own book of rules”. Democrats claim to loathe the police? Let them live without order for a while. Why interfere? It’s a state’s right to self-determination. Let ‘em have it. The citizens will eventually beg their leaders to intervene. But, it will be too late.

Blue cities were imploding from poor management even before the pandemic. Now, they’re on life-support. Crime is already increasing. Many will be injured or killed, there’s no escaping that. The chaos will continue until the citizenry rise up and take their cities and states back. Once they themselves are chanting “he who starves his people is a traitor”, they will turn to Trump for help in getting federal bailouts. But, he must refuse, unless concessions are made.

During the 60s, a couple of sociology professors from Columbia University wrote a series of strategy papers designed to implode the American free-market system. Richard Cloward and Francis Fox Piven (Cloward-Piven) believed that if they could bloat our welfare systems with enrollees, eventually it would go broke. Once that happened, the federal government would have to step in and save the program by infusing it with taxpayer money. Their plan was to continue the strategy until America became a 100% Socialist-controlled country. They never dreamed either political party would join their scheme. Imagine their surprise when the Democrats did, in exchange for votes by giving away “free” stuff. (RFD, pg. 26)

The plan worked so well that by the mid-70s New York City, Democrat-controlled for years, was nearly bankrupt. The Mayor begged then-President Ford to bail them out. At first he refused saying they got themselves into that mess, they could get themselves out. That was the right decision, painful though it may have been. Unfortunately, it was an election year, much like now. Under severe pressure from weak Republicans and Democrats alike, Ford caved. New York City hasn’t learned its lesson to this day. (RFD, pg. 27). The left and Democrats have been partners ever since.

Things are about to get really ugly. Especially if the Governors call in the United Nations. That’s when the real showdown will begin. But, it’s the only way our country can survive what’s coming.

Trump should use Alinsky Tactic #11 against Democrats. By “pushing a negative hard enough, it will break through to a positive”. The chaos caused by Democrats should, hopefully, convince the residents to realize the consequences of out-of-control progressive policies. Trump must require the banning of sanctuary cities that rape a city’s resources dry. No more talk about abolishing the police or I.C.E. Wild spending would have to be under control. Pensions would need overhauls. Voting oversight must be put in place. Illegal immigrants should be deported and not allowed I.D. cards. Hopefully, then, citizens will come to understand the luxuries of the freedoms we have via the law and order our systems provide. And, if they don’t, let them eat cake!

Yes, we have a long road ahead to regain control of our cities and states. But, the alternative is unimaginable.

The Progressives have been working their “Plan” for years, while so many Americans have been asleep. Others of us have been warning for decades that this day was coming. Many have called us conspiracy nuts. We’ve been ridiculed. We’ve been silenced. And we’ve been isolated. No more.

There isn’t time for that now. We must unify against the greatest threat we’ve faced since the Civil War. We still have a chance to save this great country of ours. Otherwise, we can stand idly by while watching America burn to the ground. I won’t give up … not so long as we have a President fighting for us every day.

Amazon Reverses Censorship Of Coronavirus Book After Rubio Intervention

Rod Thomson

Under questioning from U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio’s office, Amazon today reversed its decision of two days ago to censor a Florida surgeon’s just-published book on lessons learned from the COVID-19 outbreak and public officials handling of it.

“I’m very grateful to Sen. Rubio for intervening on my behalf, and impressed that he took such an aggressive position defending the ability of someone to express a political opinion. His staff was invaluable in getting to the bottom of this,” said Dr. Julio Gonzalez, author of Coronalessons

He went on: “But I really think it’s preposterous. It’s definitely a manipulation by Amazon of the types of messages that people get to hear and I don’t think an author should need an Elon Musk or high-ranking political official to deliver a political viewpoint.”

Dr. Gonzalez said he reached out to Sen. Rubio and the Senator’s legal office contacted Amazon’s legal office to determine the grounds for the censorship. The reason provided in a note from Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing subsidiary to Dr. Gonzalez explained the censorship rationale.

But Rubio’s legal people determined that Amazon’s written guidelines actually make no mention of COVID-19 or the coronavirus and so the giant online retailer had no grounds for banning his book. It did not violate their guidelines. Amazon apparently relented on that point and have since unbanned it and Coronalessons is now live on Amazon.

This reversal comes just days after Amazon censored former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson’s booklet titled Unreported Truths about COVID-19 and Lockdowns: Part 1: Introduction and Death Counts and Estimates. That piece of censorship was undone after Elon Musk’s public involvement on Twitter.

If not for the interventions of Rubio and Musk, Gonzalez’s and Berenson’s books may still be banned on Amazon. It is unknown how many other books Amazon may have banned for having either politically incorrect or non-government sanctioned views.

While Berenson’s is a short booklet, Dr. Julio Gonzalez’s book titled Coronalessons, is an exhaustively researched look at everything from virology and epidemiology to spread and treatments to crippling lockdowns and violations of Americans’ Constitutional rights. It has nearly 700 citations and a detailed timeline. It’s criticisms are deeply researched.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

Dr. Gonzalez is not new to authorship or to politics. In addition to running a successful surgical practice in Venice, Florida, he is an attorney and a former member of the Florida House of Representatives. He’s also the author of The Case for Free Market Healthcare and The Federalist Pages.

“This is the first comprehensive look at our nation’s coronavirus experience,” Dr.  Gonzalez said. “I have been furiously studying the pandemic, amassing data, and evaluating our responses and the effects these have had on our society and our system of laws. I compiled all that information, including a novel statistical analysis and over 650 citations into Coronalessons.”

It is not as though Amazon doesn’t sell books on controversial topics, or shy away from controversy. They’ve sold books on pedophilia.

But when it comes to COVID-19, Amazon may have a vested interest as the company has financially benefited greatly from the lockdowns that many people like Dr. Gonzalez and Berenson are criticizing in their books. By the government forcing people to stay home, Amazon’s home delivery and streaming service have been profiting in overdrive. They would have an incentive to quiet voices suggesting the lockdowns are a bad idea.

But this is a dangerous track for Amazon. The Revolutionary Act is aware of members of the  U.S. House and U.S. Senate who are concerned about Amazon’s actions banning certain books. If a close look suggests that Amazon may have reached monopoly status on book sales, that could be problematic.

Amazon’s share of all new book purchases was 41 percent before the shutdowns, but 65 percent of all new online books — both print and digital. In the e-book market, they dominated with 67 percent.
