Amazon Reverses Censorship Of Coronavirus Book After Rubio Intervention

Rod Thomson

Under questioning from U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio’s office, Amazon today reversed its decision of two days ago to censor a Florida surgeon’s just-published book on lessons learned from the COVID-19 outbreak and public officials handling of it.

“I’m very grateful to Sen. Rubio for intervening on my behalf, and impressed that he took such an aggressive position defending the ability of someone to express a political opinion. His staff was invaluable in getting to the bottom of this,” said Dr. Julio Gonzalez, author of Coronalessons

He went on: “But I really think it’s preposterous. It’s definitely a manipulation by Amazon of the types of messages that people get to hear and I don’t think an author should need an Elon Musk or high-ranking political official to deliver a political viewpoint.”

Dr. Gonzalez said he reached out to Sen. Rubio and the Senator’s legal office contacted Amazon’s legal office to determine the grounds for the censorship. The reason provided in a note from Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing subsidiary to Dr. Gonzalez explained the censorship rationale.

But Rubio’s legal people determined that Amazon’s written guidelines actually make no mention of COVID-19 or the coronavirus and so the giant online retailer had no grounds for banning his book. It did not violate their guidelines. Amazon apparently relented on that point and have since unbanned it and Coronalessons is now live on Amazon.

This reversal comes just days after Amazon censored former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson’s booklet titled Unreported Truths about COVID-19 and Lockdowns: Part 1: Introduction and Death Counts and Estimates. That piece of censorship was undone after Elon Musk’s public involvement on Twitter.

If not for the interventions of Rubio and Musk, Gonzalez’s and Berenson’s books may still be banned on Amazon. It is unknown how many other books Amazon may have banned for having either politically incorrect or non-government sanctioned views.

While Berenson’s is a short booklet, Dr. Julio Gonzalez’s book titled Coronalessons, is an exhaustively researched look at everything from virology and epidemiology to spread and treatments to crippling lockdowns and violations of Americans’ Constitutional rights. It has nearly 700 citations and a detailed timeline. It’s criticisms are deeply researched.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

Dr. Gonzalez is not new to authorship or to politics. In addition to running a successful surgical practice in Venice, Florida, he is an attorney and a former member of the Florida House of Representatives. He’s also the author of The Case for Free Market Healthcare and The Federalist Pages.

“This is the first comprehensive look at our nation’s coronavirus experience,” Dr.  Gonzalez said. “I have been furiously studying the pandemic, amassing data, and evaluating our responses and the effects these have had on our society and our system of laws. I compiled all that information, including a novel statistical analysis and over 650 citations into Coronalessons.”

It is not as though Amazon doesn’t sell books on controversial topics, or shy away from controversy. They’ve sold books on pedophilia.

But when it comes to COVID-19, Amazon may have a vested interest as the company has financially benefited greatly from the lockdowns that many people like Dr. Gonzalez and Berenson are criticizing in their books. By the government forcing people to stay home, Amazon’s home delivery and streaming service have been profiting in overdrive. They would have an incentive to quiet voices suggesting the lockdowns are a bad idea.

But this is a dangerous track for Amazon. The Revolutionary Act is aware of members of the  U.S. House and U.S. Senate who are concerned about Amazon’s actions banning certain books. If a close look suggests that Amazon may have reached monopoly status on book sales, that could be problematic.

Amazon’s share of all new book purchases was 41 percent before the shutdowns, but 65 percent of all new online books — both print and digital. In the e-book market, they dominated with 67 percent.

White Privilege? Looks More Like Asian Privilege…And Hispanic

Rod Thomson

Undergirding the rioting and burning of American cities is the concept of white privilege, which apparently is so insidious that most white people don’t recognize they have, but has been responsible for trampling black people up to this moment. The so-called and unsupportable “systemic racism” case relies on a white privilege foundation so that white people who do not feel racist or commit racist acts must nonetheless relent to being part of the problem keeping black people down.

So the question to be put is: Is there white privilege? Or is there choice privilege? Stay with me on this, because it’s awesomely easy.

It indeed looks like white privilege on the surface, considering disparities from income and wealth to education and incarceration. Anyone can see that much. But is that the whole story or are there underlying factors that drive the differences because of individual choices that are cumulative in groups of people?

Without going into the underlying choices involved in each category, all of which is spelled out in the statistics, I’ll jump to what seems like the obvious death knell of this postmodernist theory of white privilege: Asians.

In every measurable category, Asians do better than whites. Income, education, crime rate. Asians outperform whites across the board. By dint of the argument for white privilege, then there must be even more Asian privilege than white privilege. That would be news to the descendants of Chinese immigrants who were virtual slave laborers building railroads in the 19th century, or Japanese Americans rounded up and interned for the duration of WWII — two groups that now exceed whites in America.

But the proponents of white privilege — white and black progressives — refuse to even respond to this.

So let’s go further. Hispanics outperform blacks in those categories. Not by as much, but statistically significant still. So is there Hispanic privilege compared to blacks? That sounds sort of absurd. And finally, blacks who immigrated here in recent years do better than blacks who have lived here for generations. In all the categories. New blacks privilege? It starts to sound nonsensical, because at root it is.

In all these groups, different choices are made by members of the groups. If you look at Asians, the marriage rate is higher (choice,) family strength is stronger (choice,) the graduation rate is higher (choice,) and crime rate is lower (choice.)

I’ll give one fundamental statistic from the U.S. Department of Education: In 2016, the percentage of children living with married parents was highest for Asian children (84 percent), followed by white children (73 percent); then Hispanic children (57 percent each); and finally for black children (33 percent). Blacks who immigrated here in recent years also have higher family cohesiveness. This statistic alone tracks directly with outcomes in the above areas used to support white privilege.

But nobody, and I mean nobody, is willing to have this conversation about root causes. Instead, somehow, people jump to blaming cops and burning down cities, to reparations and kneeling, to tearing down the country.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

I get it, slavery and Jim Crow. But we’re 165 years removed from slavery and generations from Jim Crow, allowing time for good choices to take hold. And some have. Dr. Ben Carson. Thomas Sowell. Sen. Tim Scott. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Former President Barack Obama. They and thousands of others from impoverished broken homes have made different choices and changed the cycle. Because of that Maya and Sasha Obama will have enormous privileges. More than virtually every white person.

But again, no one wants that conversation.

It seems to me that if you created a privilege ladder based on the way the white privilege purveyors measure such privilege, it would go:

  • Asians
  • Whites
  • Hispanics
  • Blacks

But the choice privilege ladder would also look the exact same. Doesn’t it seem obvious which privilege really drives outcomes?

Amazon Censors Another Non Government-Sanctioned Coronavirus Book

Rod Thomson

Continuing its heavy-handed tactics of blocking non-government information on the coronavirus, Amazon has now censored a Florida surgeon’s just-published book on lessons learned from the COVID-19 outbreak and public officials handling of it.

This comes just five days after Amazon censored former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson’s booklet titled Unreported Truths about COVID-19 and Lockdowns: Part 1: Introduction and Death Counts and Estimates. If not for Elon Musk’s involvement, Berenson’s book may still be banned on Amazon.

But while Berenson published a short booklet, Dr.

Dr. Gonzalez is hardly a neophyte. In addition to running a surgical practice in Venice, Florida, he is an attorney and a former member of the Florida House of Representatives. He’s also the author of The Case for Free Market Healthcare and The Federalist Pages.

But Amazon said his most recent book “does not comply with our guidelines,” which it says is to follow official government sources, such as the CDC and WHO — both of which have been phenomenally incompetent on the virus. Amazon then went on to blather about the changing information about COVID-19 (which sort of undermines their own case) and suggests removing references to the virus — in a book about the virus!

“This is the second time in two weeks that we learn of Amazon openly suppressing an alternative voice on the issue of COVID-19 and on China’s behavior regarding the pandemic,” Dr. Gonzalez said. “One has to wonder whether Amazon has any interest in promoting the free exchange of ideas.”

Amazon has sold books on controversial topics from politics to religion to race and gender and pedophilia. It’s not like they shy away from controversy. So maybe now is a good time to note that Amazon has financially benefited greatly from the lockdowns that many people like Dr. Gonzalez and Berenson have criticized. By the government forcing people to stay home, Amazon’s home delivery and streaming service have been operating in overdrive.

But these are dangerous moves for Amazon. The trend may also start raising the attention of members of Congress on whether Amazon should be considered a monopoly. Apparently at least one influential member of Congress is quite upset with Dr. Gonzalez’s book being censored, as many were with Berenson’s.

Despite Riots, Democrats Continue Masking To Topple Trump

By Cathi Chamberlain

Let’s not forget during the current wave of riots and looting that Democrat states are still mostly shut down and they are trying to convince Americans that we are killing fellow countrymen by not wearing face masks to stop the spread of the pandemic. Yes, the Wuhan virus can be deadly. No question many people have died from it. Absolutely there are precautions we should all be taking. But, is the real motive something more than saving lives?

If you’ve been paying attention to what’s been happening over the past four years, you know we’ve been lied to repeatedly. Not simple little white lies. Astronomically devious, evil lies meant to destroy the very fabric of our freedom-loving country. You wouldn’t know that, however, if you’ve been listening to the “fake news” media. That’s the same media from which you say you just want to get a “second opinion.”

Within weeks of President Trump’s inauguration, some of his most loyal servants were systematically and successfully taken down, one by one. DOJ Director Jeff Sessions bowed to demands for his recusal. General Mike Flynn’s stellar 33-year military career and his life were destroyed based on planted evidence that we now know never existed. American Patriot Carter Page was spied on and his life pretty well ruined. George Papadopoulos was jailed for a crime not even associated with the Russia witch-hunt. Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, Michael Cohen and so many others were targeted and destroyed. All because they supported President Donald J. Trump.

The left told you the Trump-Russia collusion investigation was based on “evidence”. LIARS.

Democrats tried to convince you that Brett Kavanaugh was a sexual deviant. LIARS.

They said Trump was guilty of bribery in his Ukraine phone call. LIARS.

Democrats said he was targeted for accusations worthy of impeachment. LIARS.

The abundance of lies was there for all to see. Instead, many preferred to listen to the “fake news” media so they could get a “second opinion.” As though liars matter.

Due to that enabling of the anti-Trump media who’ve made no secret of their bias against our President, the lies have perpetuated. No longer are we a nation built on common sense.

When all else failed, the left found yet another “crisis” they didn’t want to go to waste, the Wuhan virus.

America’s initial, fanatically-fearful response to the pandemic was understandable given the very rational concept of “flattening the curve.” Even that, if you think about it, can be blamed on our own pathetic lack of preparedness. Our PPE stockpiles were low, a shortage of ventilators was worrisome, hospitals were too few and ill-equipped, testing by the CDC was an abject failure. In short, we were staring down a double-barreled catastrophe if we didn’t act quickly and decisively. There was simply no time to waste arguing about what had to be done: a total shutdown of our economy combined with self-isolation, stringent regulations, and masks on all.

We complied without asking questions because it made sense. We saw a dizzying array of models that scared the crap out of us. The number of deaths, projected to be 2.2 million, was unfathomable. Transmission of the virus was frighteningly easy, we were told. Imminent, they said, unless we followed their strict orders. Stay six feet away. Three aisles over.  Scrub our clothing. Wipe down goods. No masks necessary, at first. Then masks were required on everyone. We lived in total fear. And that made us easy to control.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

Then a rather peculiar thing happened. Trump and the American people began seeing some serious flaws in the advice of the “experts.” The models turned out to be grossly inaccurate, not even close to the actual numbers. Recommendations by the fed’s scientific community changed almost daily. Rumors that those “experts” were controlled by anti-Trump leftists became believable as many of us googled for truth. Could they simply be trying to take Trump down, again?

To be honest about the pandemic we must assess real numbers, not models skewed by leftists with an agenda. After all, these numbers are guiding life-altering decisions about whether or not to shut down our economy, right?

Lindsey Graham seems to think so. Or at least that’s what he said recently in response to the WHO’s disastrous handling of the pandemic. As a Republican who sits on the Senate Appropriations Committee, Graham’s influence matters.

Recently, he left no doubt as to who he thought should be running things at the W.H.O. “I have a lot of respect for Bill Gates and his work in the public health arena,” he said. “The Gates Foundation, under Bill and Melinda’s leadership, has a reputation for investing in programs which are well-run and produce results.” Seriously, Lindsey?

As stated in my recent article entitled, “Same Globalists Who Bungled Pandemic Pushing to Control the World”, the prediction models insisted upon by Drs. Fauci and Birx were way off. They were based on data from the IMHE (Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation) and Imperial College of London. That article is a must read to understand who is involved in corruption around the handling of this pandemic. And, somebody might want to tell Lindsey that the Gates Foundation “recently provided massive amounts of funding to both” of the companies behind the models. In fact, he founded the IHME. Was that purely by chance?

Isn’t it rather coincidental that both Gates-funded models caused massive shutdowns worldwide due to erroneous results? Whether it was by gross negligence or intentionally misinforming, choosing Bill Gates as the new head of the CDC would be an unmitigated disaster.

Gates has also advocated heavily against hydroxychloroquine and for keeping the world shut down until there’s a vaccine. That’s not surprising given his funding of a global vaccination program to be disseminated in conjunction with his ID2020 Alliance program designed to track every citizen’s movement at all times. The consequences of a WHO led by Bill Gates is especially worrisome considering his far-from stellar record on global vaccines.

The widely-wrong Gates’ models are all the more suspect after reading an article that appeared in Forbes recently. If true, it throws doubt on the entire numbers game attributed to the pandemic.

Entitled, “The Most Important Coronavirus Statistic: 42% Of U.S. Deaths Are From 0.6% Of The Population,” the author claims that nearly half of all deaths from the pandemic in America occurred because of bad state-wide decisions. He says nursing home and residential care facility policies are to blame. If right, that changes everything.

According to the author, he and a Public Policy Professional/Health Care Policy Expert at The Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity conducted a study to determine how many deaths were caused by faulty decision-making. They reveal their calculations in an online spreadsheet that’s easy to read. Based on nearly criminal directives from the governors of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, among others, the high rate of deaths due to the Wuhan virus could have been avoided.

Having just surpassed 100,000 deaths in America, the study is worth reviewing. The authors claim that 42% of the total deaths in America by the Wuhan virus can be attributed to wrong-headed decisions regarding long-term care facilities. Specifically, those governors ordered nursing homes to admit COVID patients into their facilities. Had better precautions been taken, the real number of COVID deaths would reflect about 58,000. That’s more in line with a bad case of flu!

“An estimated 80,000 Americans died of flu and its complications” from 2017-2018, according to the CDC. It’s hard to imagine such a high number that so few of us paid attention to at the time. But, we barely noticed. Nor was there ever mention of shutting our country down.

From 1957-1958, the Asian flu killed “1.1 million worldwide and 116,000 in the United States.” But, according to one eye witness account, America didn’t shut down. The National Football League played on and the economy continued to function. “As Rhode Island doctor and author Andrew Bostom notes, the federal Centers for Disease Control now say that the infection fatality ratio of COVID-19 is 0.27 percent, almost equal to the 0.26 percent of the 1957-1958 Asian flu.”

During the 1968 Hong Kong flu, the “estimated number of deaths was 1 million worldwide and about 100,000 in the United States. Most excess deaths were in people 65 years and older.” Still, as the New York Post reports: “schools were not shut down. Face masks weren’t required or even common. Though Woodstock was not held during the peak months of the H3N2 pandemic (the first wave ended by early March 1969, and it didn’t flare up again until November of that year), the festival went ahead when the virus was still active and had no known cure.

“Life continued as normal,” said Jeffrey Tucker, the editorial director for the American Institute for Economic Research. “But as with now, no one knew for certain how deadly [the pandemic] would turn out to be. Regardless, people went on with their lives.”

As more people come to understand the truth about the Wuhan virus, a rush to reopen states will be inevitable. We are already, thankfully, seeing that. But, there is one big obstacle: the Democratic Party. Only Republican states seem willing to get our country back on track. States governed by the Democrats are pushing back, creating fear about a second wave. We must wait for a vaccine, they warn. Even if it means a total destruction of our economy. Are they even credible anymore?

While every American should want what’s best for our country, the truth is that a recovery will undoubtedly benefit Trump to Biden’s detriment. After all attempts to topple the President over the past three years have failed, could the Democrats stoop so low to purposely damage the economy as a final attempt to take him out? You bet they could, and already are.

According to the left’s idol and father of community organizing Saul Alinsky, their goal must be achieved by any means necessary. We should take them at their word.

In his 70s blockbuster book Rules for Radicals, Alinsky outlines thirteen tactics to be used by the left to achieve their goals. I break them down in my book, Rules for Deplorables: A Primer for Fighting Radical Socialism. Tactic #6, “a good tactic is one your people enjoy,” has come into play recently with some pretty wacky rules to which Democrat leaders have subjected their citizens.

In California, for example, officials “closed a popular skate park and filled it with 37 tons of sand in hopes of keeping residents away.” I know how liberals think, I used to be one. I’m sure they sat in their cushy offices thinking this was a wily, hilarious way to control their citizens. It backfired, thankfully, when kids began using it to ride their dirt bikes. Way to fight back using Alinsky’s Tactic #12, “the price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Kudos to those who refused to be controlled by politically-motivated leaders.

Think about this: AA meetings cannot convene but liquor stores are allowed to remain open.

What logic closes churches but leaves abortion clinics operating? Why can people run along beaches but can’t sunbathe or surf? Or Mom and Pop shops selling everyday needs have to close while Walmart can stay open? How come a family of four must stay isolated in their home but can’t go out boating together? There comes a time that we must stand up and say enough, this is nonsense.

How is it that a decision-making health administrator from Pennsylvania can move her 95-year-old mother from a nursing home while ordering everyone else’s elderly relatives to stay put? Or, the husband of the governor of Michigan can request special treatment to launch his boat while everyone else must stay out of the water? What about the “fake news” media reporter chastising passersby for not wearing masks as a bystander points out the cameraman isn’t wearing one himself?

We have been “masked” into submission, America. And, it’s being politicized. From the facts slowly emerging, it’s becoming questionable whether masks even help. In checking the CDC’s website, they’re instructing this: “If you are NOT sick: You do not need to wear a facemask unless you are caring for someone who is sick (and they are not able to wear a facemask).” Are you confused yet?

I’ve seen enough. Yes, I’ll continue to carry my mask should a need arise. But, I’ll be using my own judgment going forward. Those who feel wearing one is needed based on their own health concerns should continue to do so without mask-shaming. But for Democrats who think getting Trump out of office is more important than salvaging what’s left of our economy, I have a message for you: you will fail yet again.

Our country will reopen soon because the left has forgotten one of Alinsky’s most important tactics, #7: “a tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Americans do not stay still for long and never admit defeat.

When that happens, we will remember the stark contrast between Trump and Biden in dealing with this disaster. Leadership differences between the two men have been laid bare and will reflect decisive voting in November.

We will wake up to the left’s games and revolt by reopening our states en masse. When we do, red states will be standing strong, and those blue states wanting bailouts will be left in shambles.

The Four Communist Machines Behind The Floyd Protests

Rod Thomson

Antifa has been identified as the primary driver of the violent riots engulfing American cities. But there is a critical second arm of this unholy alliance that has been around longer and has deep roots, along with possible foreign connections. Communists.

It shouldn’t be shocking. Communists domestic and foreign have been trying to undermine and destroy America for many generations. And we’ve seen a disturbing rise in American public support for Socialism and Communism. That support translates into resources and manpower on the ground and it is being put to use.

And yet the Communist element in the riots is getting virtually no media coverage. They’re not as outfront as Antifa and Black Lives Matters, but their role may be as big — and longer lasting. Because while Antifa and BLM may fade, apparently we’ll always have Communists in our midst — at least as long as we have universities infiltrated the way they are.

But they’re not hiding the ball. They weave their Marxist-Socialist agenda in with racial tensions to fan the flames, create chaos and destabilize. We’re seeing them do this in cities across the country, and in smaller cities where there is no violence but the Communists still play on the racial tensions.

Let’s start where this started, in the Twin Cities, where the largest Communist organization has a solid foothold. The Democrat Socialists of America (DSA) in Minneapolis has been supporting the rioters with resources and organization while participating in the “protests.” They use the classic Marxist language, tweeting “support the ongoing mass working-class uprising!” and later tweeting: “For all community members, fuel up to fight the fascists & police state today, join us @ Lake & 30th Ave for free hot meals & groceries! Justice & nutrition for the frontlines.”

See how they conflate the two. Here’s their official statement:

“Racist police violence is not incidental to the capitalist system, it is necessary to maintain its operation. We recognize that as we fight for a better world, it will be the police who threaten our protests, the police who will break up our picket lines, the police who selectively wield their monopoly on violence against Black people and working-class people to protect those with power and privilege.”

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

DSA is known to be involved in rioting in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Seattle and Memphis. It’s highly likely they are in other cities also.

But they are only one Communist group.

The Workers World Party (WWP) is also in several cities as part of the chaos. The WWP openly supports China, Russia, Cuba, North Korea and Iran  — essentially anyone that is an enemy of the United States. The Stalinist group has active chapters in 15 cities. WWP leader Monica Moorehead wrote May 28 an article with the headline, “Against police violence and capitalism, to rebel is justified:”

“Workers World salutes all the brave protesters in Minneapolis, currently ground zero against police terror. We also salute those activists in Los Angeles, Memphis and other cities who are organizing protests and braving the pandemic to be in the streets or in car caravans to show solidarity with the demand: Justice for George Floyd and all victims of police violence.”

The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) has organized protests in smaller cities around the U.S., including Columbia, S.C., Sarasota, Fla., Ashland, N.C., Richland, Wash. as well as San Antonio, Texas and several in the Los Angeles region. In a statement on its website May 26, the PSL said it cannot rely on the FBI for justice in the Floyd case: “The FBI is a violent state institution that has been wielded as a weapon against the liberation movement of black people in the United States.”

Interestingly, the PLS website does not have an About page, so they don’t spell out the radical revolutionary ideology, although the content of their site certainly does. They lament the Soviet Union is no more, celebrate the Chinese Communist revolution and mourn the death of Castro.

According to Wikipedia: “The Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) is a communist party in the United States established in 2004 after a split in the Workers World Party (WWP).”

More from Wiki: “The party’s goal is to lead a revolution paving the way towards socialism, under which a ‘new government of working people’ would be formed.”

And finally, there is the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP), a self-identified Maoist Communist organization, is calling for “a movement for an actual revolution” on the coattails of the Floyd murder and is participating in riots. This group published a statement titled “To YOU who are sick and tired of the madness, and ready to be part of a movement for an ACTUAL REVOLUTION:

“If you’re sick of watching video after video of these murders by police… you need to join with a movement for an actual revolution, to prepare for a time when it will be possible to lead millions to bring this system down, and replace it with a new society based on the Constitution for the New Socialist Republic in North America.”

The RCP wraps itself in leftist causes with coalition groups such as the Stop Patriarchy, October 22 Coalition to Stop Police Brutality, Stop Mass Incarceration Network and Refuse Fascism. Again, they conflate racial tensions with class warfare to leverage more chaos.

These four groups have long histories and are as radical as Antifa. They are not getting the headlines because Antifa is more blatantly violent. But they revel in the violence and burning cities and will continue to sew unrest and turmoil to overthrow America.

Launching An Economic Cold War With China

Rod Thomson

The time for civil behavior regarding Communist China is past. An Economic Cold War is required or someday, a terrible hot war will be. And such an Economic Cold War is both doable and winnable. But not cost-free.

First, before getting to how we fire the first salvo in such a Cold War, we have to briefly document what a dangerous government runs China. It is now well-known around the globe (if not to the Chinese people) that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is directly and completely responsible for loosing COVID-19 on the world.

The CCP in Wuhan and Beijing covered up and lied, with the support of the World Health Organization, for a month after determining that this new coronavirus spread between humans, allowing about five million people from Wuhan and Hubei Province to travel around the world, including direct flights from Wuhan to the United States and Europe. The Chinese Communists also ordered the destruction of evidence, including early samples and research, “disappeared” doctors who were trying to alert the world to the new danger, expelled journalists, blocked the CDC from visiting and helping, lied to the World Health Organization and imprisoned “rumor-mongers” trying to blow the whistle on the epidemic. To this day, the CCP continues to lie about the number of infections and deaths; by some estimates, as many as a million Chinese have died from COVID-19.

Epidemiologists now believe that if Wuhan had been isolated just three to four weeks earlier and the world knew to enact travel restrictions and quarantines, the virus likely would have been contained to a sharp but local outbreak in Hubei Province. And none of the rest of the world would be threatened as it is today. Hundreds of thousands would not have died from it. Perhaps millions would not have died from the ill-conceived total shutdowns of western economies, largely the U.S., that feed subsistence level people in Third-World countries. In fact, the shutdown was predicated on bad models with corrupted information from China.

None of it would have happened if it were not for a venal, brutal dictatorship in Beijing.

All of these deaths are not on President Trump or Gov. Andrew Cuomo or Italy (which had direct flights from Wuhan to Northern Italy). They are on Communist China.

But this is just the final nail in the coffin of the failed policy — which I was warm to early on — that China could be wooed into the fraternity of civilized nations through increased economic integration and more open trade. Many conservative thought leaders who once subscribed to this concept, such as William McGurn, Bill Bennett, Hugh Hewitt and many others — now recognize it largely failed and that a sea change is needed. It’s not clear where liberal/progressive thought leaders are on this because their entire intellectual processes are consumed with removing Trump from the White House.

Communist China may be the biggest threat to its own people, as one of the worst human rights violators on the planet. They have shipped more than a million Uyghurs to concentration camps for the crime of being Muslims. The Uyghur men are separated from the women, including husbands and wives, with the goal of essentially eliminating the ethnic minority in a generation by being unable to procreate, except those Uyghur women who are given to Chinese Communist Party members.

The Chinese Communists also imprison Christians, other Muslims, Hindus, journalists, and literally — by law — anyone who says something critical of the Communist regime. This is a terrible, repressive government.

And a terrible neighbor. China has illegally built islands in the South China Sea and fortified them militarily with air bases and army units. They have turned loans to impoverished or foolish countries into blackmail projects through their Belt and Road project, economically subjugating some Third World nations to gain access to their resources and ports.

And right now, China is using the cover of the COVID-19 pandemic to crackdown on Hong Kong and eliminate the citizens’ rights it agreed to retain when England returned the prosperous island city to China. Hong Kong freedoms are going to be erased, as will many Chinese in Hong Kong.

Communist China has stolen U.S. military technology, interfered with elections, infiltrated high-ranking American officials such as U.S. Sen. Diane Feinstein, a California Democrat. They have hacked the U.S. government and major American corporations. They have cheated on trade agreements and blackmailed U.S. companies. And they enable the unthinkably brutal and dangerous North Korean regime.

They are building a strong navy and air force to go with their giant army, often using pilfered technology from the U.S. and occasionally Europe.

China’s ambitions are for world domination, and there is no other way to read it. They are playing the long game and have played the United States from Nixon to Obama. We need a President with the backing of Congress who will stand up to China before it is too late. And that means now.

That sure isn’t Joe Biden, whose son Hunter was given more than a billion dollars by the Chinese Communists for his “investment” fund after flying in with his then Vice President father on Air Force Two.

According to the New York Post: “In 2013, then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden flew aboard Air Force Two to China. Less than two weeks later, Hunter Biden’s firm inked a $1 billion private equity deal with a subsidiary of the Chinese government’s Bank of China. The deal was later expanded to $1.5 billion. In short, the Chinese government funded a business that it co-owned along with the son of a sitting vice president.”

That was the first of a couple of rounds of investments in Hunter Biden’s firm that greatly enriched him and could well be part of the reason that Joe Biden is so soft on the Chinese Communists. That, and being perennially wrong on foreign affairs.

If China is the true existential threat to the United States as we know it, then Joe Biden is the exact wrong person in the White House to be dealing with them.

This has to end and it seems to me there is only one person willing to stand up to the Communist thugs in Beijing — the only President in two generations that has.

Firing the first salvo in the Economic Cold War

The Chinese government and the Chinese Communist Party are one and the same. And that means that nations such as the United States can sue the CCP without running into sovereign immunity protections that apply to governments but not organizations or companies. Missouri already has already done so. Nations suing other nations, national governments suing other national governments, is a go-nowhere prospect because of sovereign immunity. But suing individuals, companies and organizations is an accepted practice.

The lawsuits would be for economic damages due to the CCP’s mischief in covering up the dangers of the new virus. A German newspaper has estimated that the Chinese government owes Germany about $155 billion for damages due to their malfeasance.

So lawsuits could be brought against the CCP by the United States or by individual states in federal court. If the courts rule in favor of Missouri or other states, or the federal government if it launched a lawsuit, collection is not as hopeless as it sounds because China has huge investments in the U.S. That’s a legal point of leverage. A court or even the federal government could put a freeze on certain investments, as we have done with Iran and others, which of course would invite China to retaliate against American investments there. That would be painful in the short term, but in the long term it would expedite the necessary shift out from China.

Italy, England, France, South Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Australia and dozens of others could also sue China in their national courts  — or the European Union courts for the European countries. Who knows how successful these might be, but they would keep the Chinese Communists on their heels and some would probably have success. We saw how the European Union ruled against Apple and Google in cases and that required payment from both U.S. companies as well as a change in how they operated in Europe. The CCP’s actions have been much more deleterious than anything Apple and Google did.

Again, it’s not suing the country of China, but the Communist Party, a non-sovereign organization. The lawsuits can also name individuals in China, which would include multiple leaders in the CCP.

This is just one path for holding China accountable, but one that would hit the CCP hard.

Congress can and should hold investigatory hearings that would form the basis for a radical shift in our relationship, policies and trade with China. This has to happen, and could mean a significant paradigm shift from how we have done business since Nixon.

The very worst result would be that there ends up being no accountability for the Chinese Communists, and the world just goes back to business as normal. That would embolden the tyrants in Beijing. They would take from this that they can get away with anything. And the entire world would pay the price.

Coronavirus Whistleblower

Disgruntled “Whistleblower” In Charge Of BARDA Failed America. Twice

By Cathi Chamberlain

The pattern is getting old. Yet, people continue to believe whistleblowers who have derogatory information about President Trump with little or no evidence. In the past three years, too many have popped up coincidentally just when it looks like he’s gaining in popularity. It’s time we learned how to distinguish real whistleblowers from those designed purely to destroy a duly-elected President. This shouldn’t happen in America, no matter which party a President represents.

As I explained on April 21, the media reported the reassignment of Dr. Rick Bright and in protest, Bright hit back by hiring the same law firm that defended Christine Blasey Ford.

That’s no accident. As the media riled up yet another angry mob of misinformed Americans, the facts trickled out. And, they don’t favor Dr. Bright. Still, the newest shiny object was created by the left.”

It’s the same pattern the left has used repeatedly since Trump’s Day One in the Oval Office.

First, a crisis affecting our country is targeted. It could be natural-born such as the pandemic, or manufactured as was the Trump-Russia collusion scam.

Second, a left-leaning sympathizer like the Ukraine whistleblower is activated, preferably someone with a credible, high-level job who is in a position to cast aspersions on the Trump Administration.

Third, their “complaint” is leaked to the press, specifically the anti-Trump “fake news” media who peppers the public with spurious headlines, giving the story “legs.”.

Fourth, the Democrats feign outrage and set up an “investigation,” like impeachment, to focus the American people on Trump’s supposed failures.

Devastatingly for our country, most Americans are too busy, lazy, or naive to try to make sense of the original complaint. That’s because the charges are made intentionally convoluted by the left precisely to confuse us. It’s by design. But, it’s a pattern that we must recognize and break if our country is to survive its present politically-toxic condition.

The left’s end goal in these hard-to-fathom plots is to transform America to socialism. That is their stepping stone to globalism. We know that because the left has told those of us paying attention, and via their actions in concert with the UN. It would lead to an elite class of wealthy rulers determined to diminish the American exceptionalism that has led to enriching the lives of people worldwide. The effects would be disastrous for humanity. We cannot let that happen.

Dr. Bright had worked for BARDA, a key government agency influential in developing drugs and vaccines for COVID-19 and with massive funding power. His reassignment seemingly came out of nowhere. Or, did it? My research uncovered some interesting connect-the-dot scenarios.

Days before Dr. Bright’s transfer, for example, a press release was posted on Moderna’s website announcing a super-sized grant from BARDA. Moderna was the first company to announce COVID-19 vaccine production back in January. It also happens to be heavily funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a self-described globalist organization with a questionable vaccine safety record. A trusted source tells me that President Trump is no fan of Bill Gates, and vice versa.

Was there a connection between BARDA’s grant to Moderna under Dr. Bright’s direction, Trump’s distrust of the Gates Foundation, and the subsequent reassignment of Bright? Only time will tell. But it’s interesting to note that Bright was appointed by Obama on Nov. 15, 2016 — less than a week after Trump’s election. Coincidence?

Either way, just as Trump was getting the pandemic response seemingly under control, up pops whistleblower Dr. Bright, the newest manufactured crisis.

Not surprisingly, Bright’s claim found “legs” in left-leaning Politico, giving the claim credibility. The headline reads, “Ousted vaccine expert battles with Trump team over his abrupt dismissal.” It was meant to question Trump’s wisdom at losing such an “expert” at so critical a time. And, it worked.

With many Americans outraged, Democrats began yet another endless, mind-controlling investigation at taxpayer expense. Trump is not dividing America, as anti-Trumpers like to claim, these constant fabricated attacks against him are doing the dividing.

Before you think this is conspiracy talk, you may want to keep reading.

There have been three similar major “crises” precisely following this exact pattern since Trump’s election: the phony Trump-Russia collusion witch-hunt, the unfounded complaint lodged against Justice Brett Kavanaugh by Dr. Ford, and the original whistleblower’s biased interpretation of the President’s Ukraine phone call. Each “crisis” turned out to be fake. How do we know? Because once the uproars subsided, no charges remained against Trump. But, to the left, that doesn’t matter. Damage caused by the chaos was already done.

Saul Alinsky’s Tactic #1, “power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have,” is used by Democrats to confuse us and instill fear in their opponents’ minds. They want us to believe that Dr. Bright, for example, has a legitimate warning. By accomplishing that, their opponents suddenly have something real to fear. Thus, the American people, whether we realize it or not, become accomplices in the Democrats’ schemes merely by buying into their scams. That feeds new, costly, time-consuming investigations.

Democrats know if they can focus enough attention on Trump’s so-called failures, they’ve won merely by making him appear guilty. Plus, they divert attention from their own transgressions. It’s an illusion, but effective. Is it fair? To the left, this is war and they must win by any means necessary. It’s Alinsky-logic. They’ve been at it for decades.

Bright’s protestations that he is simply an altruistically-concerned, dedicated scientist just wanting to help humanity fall flat. We’ve learned now that instead of showing up at his new position to work on the emerging coronavirus fast-response team called “Operation Warp Speed,” he called in sick. Presumably he had a spike in blood pressure while dealing with the stress of it all. Yet, he continues to collect his $285,000 per year salary while “on vacation as he tries to straighten out his work situation.”

Listening to Bright’s testimony, one could easily be convinced that the world is coming to an end, and it’s all Trump’s fault. Terms like “dark winter,” “lost lives,” “no master plan,” and “ignored warnings” are meant to scare the American public and turn us against the President.

HHS Secretary Alex Azar has publicly and repeatedly denounced Bright’s complaints saying that everyone involved at HHS voiced similar well-known concerns, they just didn’t waste taxpayer money on what they could not change now. Rather, they’ve been busy working on solutions.

So, who is right?

In researching BARDA’s website to find out what their mission actually is, I found a “Message from the Director” page. It hasn’t, by the way, been updated since 2011 when it projected its goals for the coming five years. The then-Director claimed great success in the previous five years having developed “a robust product development pipeline for nearly all threats.”

Until Americans of both parties understand the game being played by the left and are willing to be honest, whistleblowers like Dr. Bright will continue to thrive, Trump will continue to be targeted, and the American people will be the biggest losers of all.

According to the message, great strides had been made. BARDA’s Strategic Plan for 2011-2016, at least, projected that their “mission over the next five years and beyond [is] to develop and provide medical countermeasures for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear threats, pandemic influenza, and emerging infectious diseases. The implementation measures to achieve these strategic goals include support of product advanced development, stockpile acquisition, manufacturing surge capacity infrastructure building, and product innovation. These medical countermeasures include vaccines, biological and small molecule therapeutics, antiviral drugs and antibiotics, diagnostics, respiratory devices, and other medical supplies.” If they could achieve all that, I’d say $285,000 is money well-spent for a Director.

If BARDA’s mission was to prepare the nation for “emerging infectious diseases” and the group was to develop and provide countermeasures such as “diagnostics,” “respiratory devices,” “medical supplies,” “stockpile acquisition,” and “manufacturing surge capacity infrastructures,” where the hell was Dr. Rick Bright, exactly, for the two years prior to the pandemic? More importantly, could this be the real reason Trump’s team got rid of him? He did nothing, and now is merely a disgruntled employee?

Conservatives say the left is always projecting what they’ve actually done wrong onto their opponents, blaming them for ineptness that doesn’t exist. It’s a deflection that works fairly well.

Was Dr. Bright himself responsible for incompetence leading to our country’s lack of pandemic preparedness? Given the facts now known, it certainly seems logical. Indeed, it appears that Trump’s Coronavirus Task Force has done more to accomplish BARDA’s “mission” in the past two months than Dr. Bright has accomplished in two years.

Trump’s tweet on the same day as Bright’s testimony demonstrates that, once again, our President is way ahead of the game. He wrote, “I don’t know the so-called Whistleblower Rick Bright, never met him or even heard of him, but to me he is a disgruntled employee, not liked or respected by people I spoke to and who, with his attitude, should no longer be working for our government!”

Judging from BARDA’s obvious failures under Dr. Bright’s watch, the President is probably right.

We should be grateful that Trump fights back without sugar-coated, politically-correct nuances. Our country is on the brink of collapse and the only way for certain people on both sides of the aisle to accept that is by cold, hard truth.

It is we, the people, who must break the pattern repeated over and over again by the left to shift blame onto President Trump for transgressions they themselves have committed. Their phony plots are exactly the reason our country is divided one against the other. And, it’s the left’s mission to keep it that way until Election Day 2020.

Until Americans of both parties understand the game being played by the left and are willing to be honest, whistleblowers like Dr. Bright will continue to thrive, Trump will continue to be targeted, and the American people will be the biggest losers of all.

Freedom Government Truth

Both Parties Have Unleashed The Beast On America

Rod Thomson

The Founding Fathers understood. The monster must be imprisoned, shackled and padlocked in multiple ways. If it is not securely and soundly constrained, it will break free and terrorize the countryside. We see their increasingly ignored forewarnings brightly highlighted in draconian shutdown orders.

The monster of course is government, by nature a truly monstrous being. This gongs in the ears of Americans who have not been taught history, or refuse to learn from it. But from the beginnings of time, governments under kings, queens, emperors, chieftains, despots and potentates of every stripe have caused more death and misery than all of the famines, plagues and catastrophes of nature.

The history of the 20th century alone is soaked in the blood of governments terrorizing their own citizens, quite apart from the wars of conquest they embarked on. Mao, Stalin, Hitler, it is often forgotten or ignored, were the heads of government and could have accomplished none of their genocides against their own people without a gigantic government accountable only to itself. Pol Pot, Ho Chi Minh, Castro and a host of others did the same on a smaller scale.

This is the history of big and unaccountable governments. Always. The most enlightened government in history to its time, the British Empire, still allowed its own citizens few individual rights, and those it granted and it removed. It ran press gangs to snatch even its own people out of pubs and dives for essentially slave sailors on its ships.

As often as not, the most tyrannical governments were those supposedly “protecting” us — from potential invaders, from religious heresy, from poverty, from “others” such as Jews. Their dictatorial powers frequently derived from the people’s fears, our fears. Such as fears of a deadly virus. Perhaps fears of “catastrophic” climate change.

But it always ends the same. Pick your empire (run by governments, all) and the rights-crushing, soul-sucking terror that follows the squashing of individual rights is inevitable. Only the scale differs.

Until 1776, that is, when for the first time in the history of mankind, a nation created a government by and for the people, not for itself. It created a government on the principles that all of mankind is created in the image of God and therefore has rights emanating from God, not from government. These rights were inherent to all mankind and government was to play the role of ensuring those rights were not encroached upon — mostly by constraint as a government, including an American government, would be the largest threat.

As history had taught Madison, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Washington and the rest, the government monster would always be a threat to those rights, to the individual’s liberty that comes from God. It was by its nature monstrous, and so while it had to exist, it had to be imprisoned, locked up deep in a vault far from the people and with no ability to terrorize the American citizenry.

And the Framers created such a prison by establishing a separation of powers. Creating three equal branches of government that would harness human nature’s lust for power to keep each in check, while also creating a strong state’s rights system that would further act to keep the federal government in check.

This system was brilliantly designed by the Framers to imprison the monster away from the people by creating constant friction within the government and between the government and the states. Over the course of the centuries, we’ve seen how marvelously it has preserved individual rights and freedoms and created a magnificent Shining City on a Hill.

Like The Revolutionary Act on Facebook

However, we have steadily been loosening the chains on the monster, slowly freeing it from these restraints while at the same time providing it with weapons to use against the American people. The courts have done this through extra-Constitutional rulings. Congress has done this through legislation. Presidents have done this through executive orders. And to a degree, each branch has allowed the other to take these powers — Congress giving the most away.

And we the people allowed it all. It was all in our power to stop, but we let it slip away. Why? How did human nature turn this power over? More human nature, but within a changing dynamic.

The Framers almost universally agreed that this arrangement of freedoms and representative democracy was only fit for a Christian and moral people. It’s not clear we are either of those things anymore. We’re certainly not nearly as much as we were in 1776, or even 50 years ago. The loosening of the chains on the government monster has occurred in part because we lost the knowledge, through purposely lacking education, of why the cell was locked in the first place.

Part of the calculation is political expediency on the part of politicians who, with the growth and power of the monster and decline in Christian influence and morals, find more prestige and financial gain from being in office, and so re-election trumps all other considerations. Therefore Congress, filled with people of declining moral character, reflecting the country, has foisted off on the presidency or the courts the tough decisions that can have political blowback. The power and prestige far outweighs doing the right thing for the nation.

This has been bi-partisan. Each party is culpable as it attempts to gain control of the reins of power to bend the monster to its will. Democrats openly seek to free the beast, while Republicans tend to only slow the pace at which it is freed. And the American people are responsible for electing these people. They truly are representative. They are a reflection of us — a nation of people who are increasingly forgetting the monster behind the locks.

But in doing so, both parties representing the people who chose them, feed the monster while loosening its bonds, and it grows and grows and grows until the monster itself is the one in control — unbending and willful itself, unbound to the people or even the parties.

This is not a warning of where we are heading. We are here.

The monster is loose on the American people. It is not completely free, but the locks are off and it’s chain is long and weakening. It is shutting people into their houses, telling them what they can and cannot say. Stopping them from going to places of worship. If it is not re-imprisoned very soon, we the people will be incapable of restraining it. At that point, the great American experiment ends. The greatest power for good on earth, will cease to be that nation anymore. And the world will descend into the bloody chaos of unchained monsters and enslaved peoples around the globe.

No this is not our future. This is our present. And we’ve almost missed it. The creep has been so steady, we are as frogs in warming water. It has been going on a long time.

When the monster disapproved of the choice of the American people for president, it reacted via its nature and sought to devour that choice. As is being unveiled more every day, what we saw was a concerted, coordinated effort through different parts of government, from the FBI, CIA and other intelligence agencies, to the State Department, Justice Department and individual federal judges blocking presidential actions to the pliant FISA court. Or consider the mini-tyrants unveiled in the COVID shutdowns, or the IRS targeting political opponents of the former President, or the NSA broadly spying on everyone to the shock of many in Congress.

Readers may bristle at this, but they are all part of the monsters. Not all of the individuals, of course. Not by a long-shot. But in measuring the actions they have taken to destroy the people’s choice, it is difficult to dispute that, as organizations, they are part of terrorizing the American people and threatening the representative government bequeathed to us by the Framers.

Republicans and conservatives reactively, and not inaccurately, blame Democrats and the media working in conjunction with Democrats inside government to explain this. Yes. There’s plenty of truth to that. We’ve reported much of it on this site. However, this is the reality: Neither Democrat politicians nor the media were part of the launch of the Russia collusion hoax played on the American people. That was launched and steered entirely by the monster — acting on its own.

That is the key piece of evidence.

The other reality is that if a Democrat president ever moves against the goals and desires of the monster, the beast unleashed will do what it deems necessary to undermine, block or destroy that president. Right now, it has allies in the Democratic Party and media. But remember, the previous president willingly used the FBI and courts to pursue journalists in the AP and at Fox News that it did not like. The media glanced away because they perceived themselves on the side of the titular head of the monster — oddly, what they considered the right side of history. But the monster is greater than any president now, and certainly greater than a media that has burned down trustworthiness with the American people.

The monster is not loyal to any party or people. It is for itself. Period.

It is not clear that President Trump truly understands the depth of the threat to the American future. But he might. He certainly does more so than other politicians in Washington. But he cannot re-imprison the beast by himself. I don’t think he knows how to. He needs an iron-backboned Congress that also sees the desperate need to chain up the monster, even at great political risk. And he needs to keep appointing judges and justices who will rule on the Constitution and who also see the threat of leviathan unleashed.

If we do not bend history back and remember why the monster was chained in the first place, we will pay a very steep price.

Dems Ramp Up Impeachment II As Flynn Gets Justice

By Cathi Chamberlain

It’s taken three painful years for truth to emerge. But we now know that the head of the Democratic Party’s House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, lied to the American people to justify the Mueller Special Counsel investigation into so-called Trump-Russia collusion. He was hardly the only one. Condoning that behavior, or allowing it to go unpunished, will mean the death of America as we know it.

According to Breitbart more than a year ago, Schiff lied to the American people no fewer than fourteen times. He is still lying today.

He no longer has cover for his lies now that the classified information he was privy to has been un-redacted and released by Attorney General Bill Barr’s office. Trey Gowdy recently told FOX News that Congressmen have total immunity for anything said in office. That’s insane. And it allows the lowest of characters, like Schiff, to rise to power.

We know that the Democrats, the DOJ, the FBI, and Mueller, along with his entire team, were aware that there was no evidence to back up the Trump-Russia collusion charges well before the midterm election in 2018. The Washington Examiner reported that “Special counsel prosecutors mostly knew by the end of 2017, and certainly by a few months later, that the evidence would not establish that conspiracy or coordination had taken place.” Think about that.

As President Trump was being falsely accused, the American people were led to believe he and many supporters were guilty of some of the worst crimes against our country. We were put through an agonizing array of confusing messages that now appear almost certainly to have been intentionally planted. If ever there was true election interference, this was it and the evidence is out.

We see waves of evidence today as the DOJ finally dropped the relentless prosecution of decorated war hero, Lt. Gen. Mike Flynn. Incredibly, some Democrats quickly took to the airwaves to condemn the move and call for a re-do. They argue that the Mueller investigation was justified because convictions were ultimately attained. No matter that those convictions came by “fruit of the poisonous tree.” Or that FBI 302 forms had been changed. Too bad if the DOJ withheld exculpatory evidence. It doesn’t matter to them that Flynn only testified that he lied after losing his home, filing bankruptcy in his defense, and having the FBI target his son. Who among us wouldn’t say just about anything having gone through the same — particularly targeting family members?

That is exactly how the left plays the game. Target the man, then fashion the crime. Eventually you’ll find something that will stick. It’s disgraceful.

Chapter 3 of my book, Rules for Deplorables: A Primer for Fighting Radical Socialism (RFD), explores this in Saul Alinsky’s tactic #3, “whenever possible go outside the experience of your enemy.” Democrats and the left created a scenario against Trump that was so unbelievably convoluted that the average American could barely follow. That was intentional. All thirteen of Alinsky’s tactics are being used against America today in an effort to transform our country to socialism. If we don’t get this right, our grandchildren won’t know the meaning of freedom.

“‘Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.’ So said Lavrentiy Beria, the ruthless and longest-serving secret police chief in Joseph Stalin’s reign of terror in Russia and Eastern Europe, bragging that he ‘could prove criminal conduct on anyone, even the innocent’….

“…Beria targeted ‘the man’ first, then proceeded to find or fabricate a crime. Beria’s modus operandi was to presume the man guilty, and fill in the blanks later. By contrast, under the United States Constitution, there’s a presumption of innocence….

You wouldn’t know that if you followed the Trump-Russia collusion special counsel investigation or with the confirmation process of Judge Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court.

“When Saul Alinsky discusses Tactic #3, he claims its intent is to cause confusion, chaos, fear and retreat on the part of one’s opponent.” (RFD,pp. 59-60)

That’s exactly what Adam Schiff intended with his purposely misleading statements throughout the Mueller investigation. He’s the highest-ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, after all. Those in his party should be outraged, if they are honest. Likewise, any American who blindly followed their favorite mainstream media source only to now learn they had been lied to for years, should feel betrayed — if they have learned the truth now.

It should be no secret to common sense Americans that the “fake news” media has been infiltrated by puppets who follow the leftist agenda. As more evidence comes out about the phony Trump-Russia collusion witch-hunt (and it will), the survival of the Democratic Party may well depend on how it responds to this new reality.

According to U.S. Rep. Devin Nunes, who has been sounding the alarm about the attempted coup against this President since the beginning, “53 House Intel Committee transcripts will expose more lies made to Congress by the deep state and Radical Dems.” Schiff inexcusably withheld the documents for over two years. America should be grateful to Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell for finally having the courage to make them public. Now that they’ve been un-redacted and released, we’re seeing the extent to which the past administration tried to damage Trump and company.

Obama’s top guns, e.g. James Comey, James Clapper, Sally Yates, Susan Rice, Evelyn Farkas et al, giddily cast suspicions about Trump-Russia collusion to complicit news anchors from the start. The newly released transcripts reveal that every one of them, during testimony under threat of perjury, denied having any evidence whatsoever to back up claims they made on TV. All was done in an attempt to impeach Trump. That is truly treasonous.

Many Americans will feign surprise at these new revelations. They shouldn’t. Nearly everything being exposed today has been known for years to those paying attention. Much of it was revealed in Chapter 3 of my book, written in the fall of 2018. Every word has since held true. In fact, some revelations have not yet hit the mainstream. Isn’t it time to start asking, where has the media been?

How the collusion suspicions began is really quite a spy novel. And, for the sake of our country’s survival, it’s time we all learn the facts because it’s about to happen all over again.

As early “as late 2015 through the summer of 2016, the British spy agency GCHQ (equivalent to our NSA), along with other foreign allied agencies known as the ‘Five Eyes’, began passing highly sensitive information [about Trump et al] to their U.S. counterparts.

“GCHQ supposedly became aware of ‘suspicious interactions’ between figures connected to Trump and known or suspected Russian agents, a source close to U.K. intelligence said. Or, did they?

“GCHQ’s then head, Robert Hannigan, passed material in summer 2016 to CIA chief, John Brennan (his long-time buddy.) Brennan used that information to ‘launch a major interagency investigation. … Both U.S. and U.K. intelligence sources acknowledge that GCHQ played an early, prominent role in kick-starting the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation, which began in late July 2016.’ But, why?

“Joe DiGenova, former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, reported on a Lou Dobbs Tonight episode of FOX News Business (October 16, 2018), that they did so because it was illegal for American agencies to spy on American citizens. The Obama administration, via his FBI and DOJ asked the U.K. for assistance, and GCHQ complied.” (RFD, pp. 61-62)

And, so it began.

But, Brennan didn’t stop there. And, what follows is key to understanding how the left has gotten away with this and so many other attacks against our Constitutional principles since Obama left the White House. It’s something we ought all be worried about.

Kimberly Strassel, member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board, laid out John Brennan’s involvement better than I ever could: “‘In a late August [2016] briefing, [Brennan] told the [Democratic] Senate minority leader [Harry Reid] Russia was trying to help Mr. Trump win the election, and that Trump advisers might be colluding with Russia. [Do you see how they give each other cover?]

“‘…Within a few days of the briefing, Mr. Reid wrote a letter to Mr. Comey, which…immediately became public…[i.e., was leaked.] “The evidence of a direct connection between the Russian government and Donald Trump’s presidential campaign continues to mount,’ wrote Mr. Reid, going on to float Team Clinton’s the-Russians-are-helping-Trump theory. Mr. Reid publicly divulged at least one of the allegations contained in the infamous Steele dossier, insisting that the FBI use ‘every resource available to investigate this matter.’

“‘The Reid letter marked the first official blast of the Brennan-Clinton collusion narrative into the open. Clinton opposition-research firm Fusion GPS followed up by briefing its media allies about the dossier it had dropped off at the FBI. On Sept. 23, Yahoo News’s Michael Isikoff ran the headline: “U.S. intel officials probe ties between Trump adviser and Kremlin.”…Not only was the collusion narrative out there, but so was evidence that the FBI was investigating.’” (RFD, pp. 66-67)

What makes this information so relevant today is that the same Michael Isikoff is still doing the left’s bidding. And, most probably, Americans are again only paying attention to the headlines. His latest article is entitled “Exclusive: Obama says in private call that ‘rule of law is at risk’ in Michael Flynn case.” It could translate as a direct shout-out, via Isikoff, by the former president to his entrenched, well-coordinated army of agitators. It exemplifies a pattern repeated by the left critical for Americans to recognize. Let’s see how Isikoff’s 2016 article of half-truths played out.

“The Guardian concurs with Strassel’s account, adding further insight: ‘In late August and September 2016, Brennan gave a series of classified briefings to the Gang of Eight, the top-ranking Democratic and Republican leaders in the House and Senate. He told them the agency had evidence the Kremlin might be trying to help Trump to win the presidency….’ At the time, Brennan did not tell the committee who his sources were [hard to believe nobody asked], only that they came from America’s allies. Much later, however, Trump learned that the source was the GCHQ. In fact, Trump blamed them later in his infamous wiretap tweet for secretly surveilling him in Trump Tower. He’s not looking so crazy anymore, is he?

“In mid-2016 (two and a half months after ‘Crossfire’ was launched and just weeks before the election), a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) order was approved to spy on an American for supposed criminal activities with Russia. A large part of the evidence supporting that warrant was based on the “Steele dossier” and the Yahoo article by Michael Isikoff.” (RFD, pp. 66-68)

We now know from the Mueller Report that the complete Steele dossier was based on false, unverified information. Recall that FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe admitted under oath that the investigation would never have launched had it not been for the dossier. We also know that the FISA warrants were based on lies. But, it no longer matters. The damage has been done. According to John Solomon, a highly-respected investigative reporter, “circular” investigating is a pattern the left uses often to further its goals. Indeed, we’ve seen it repeated again and again against Trump.

Think about it. First, a crisis is created to which some well-placed, left-wing agents of the Intel Community or Congress respond. Their involvement lends credibility. Someone leaks it to the press. The press reports it as though it’s gospel. Fifty-percent of Americans will believe wherever the headline leads them. The new witch-hunt begins. Now, apparently, it’s being leveled against DOJ Director Bill Barr for ordering the criminal charges against Flynn dropped.

Circular investigations occurred with the attacks against Kavanaugh. And again in the Ukraine whistleblower case leading to Trump’s impeachment trial. The crisis in both cases was manufactured. Congress/Intel responded by feigning outrage. They leaked word to the press. The press reported ad nauseum. Americans believed the headlines. A new hoax was born.

This coming attack by the Dempcrats against our President, by way of Barr, is about to be unleashed. Get ready, America. Using Alinsky tactic #3, they will again make this crisis as confusing and chaotic as possible in hopes that you’ll lose interest. But, if we don’t stand up for the rule of law now, what’s left of it will be worthless within a few short years. The Dems constant accusations against the Trump administration are merely deflections from exactly what they are guilty of doing. Isikoff’s recent headline proves it.

Note the newest whistleblower that has recently come forward. Pay attention as this may become another fake “Ukraine phone call” Trump set-up meant to throw us off. According to The Deplorable Report, the Director of BARDA, Dr. Rick Bright, was reassigned on April 21 for reasons unknown.

“In protest, Bright hit back hard by hiring the same law firm that defended Christine Blasey Ford. That’s no accident.

“Days prior an April 16th Press Release on the Gates-funded Moderna’s website announced ‘a commitment of up to $483 million from BARDA … to accelerate development of the Company’s mRNA vaccine candidate against the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).’ They also note that no commercial product using mRNA technology has been approved before and ‘the safety and efficacy of mRNA-1273 has not yet been established.’”

Could it be that Dr. Bright was doing the bidding of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation’s race for a universal COVID-19 vaccine at taxpayer expense? Did Bright approve the large loan against the wishes of the Trump Administration? Could that be why he was reassigned? We simply don’t know. It is awfully coincidental. Yet, the press wants us to believe Trump messed up by relieving a qualified doctor of a powerful position at a desperate time of need. Is that really what happened?

The President’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has seemingly been working tirelessly for our country, along with others on the Coronavirus Task Force. Yet, like so many other Trump devotees, he’s been subjected to non-stop insults from the left, and even from some Conservatives. Most recently because Kushner put together a volunteer team of professionals who wanted nothing more than to help our country through this difficult time.

The New York Times ran a story headlined, “How Kushner’s Volunteer Force Led a Fumbling Hunt for Medical Supplies.” Pretty deflating if you happen to be one of the volunteers. In contrast, “[s]enior administration officials defended the efforts of the group of volunteers from consulting and private equity firms in obtaining N95 respirator masks, gloves and other protective equipment, ventilators and testing supplies and questioned the legitimacy of a whistleblower complaint filed last month to the House Oversight Committee.” That those on the front lines were distracted by such gossip is pathetic, especially while Americans are still dying.

If you are still a believer in mainstream media reportage even after what we’ve witnessed over the past three years, consider how the “fake news” media is continuing, even now, to lie. “CBS News has deleted footage from a Grand Rapids, Mich., health clinic for a report on coronavirus testing after Project Veritas revealed that the clinic packed a line of patients waiting for tests.”

Project Veritas films their investigations using undercover reporters. This story is especially troubling. Actual patients were intentionally subjected to longer lines because of the “fake” patients CBS planted in cars waiting to be “tested.” Apparently, this was to give the impression there are a lot more infected people than actually exist, scaring us further into staying home. Is the Democrat’s universal income for all agenda really their goal? We are nearly there, after all.

The Dems are doubling down and digging in. Representative Jerry Nadler said he would investigate the DOJ’s decision to drop charges against Flynn. Schiff is already setting the stage for another Trump impeachment trial over the administration’s supposed mishandling of the pandemic. This should leave no doubt in the minds of the American people that these criminal shenanigans are far from over. It will not end until we stand up and say, enough!

The left is on a mad dash to transform America to socialism. Obama told us as much while campaigning for President in 2007. He very nearly succeeded. Is that what we want?

If not, we need to pay closer attention to where our facts are coming from. It’s no longer enough to read headlines. Not only is the content important but the author’s motives should matter, too. When we’re misled by any one reporter or organization, it’s time to boycott and put them out of business. Support the many independent up-and-comers who are working hard to fill the vacuum with well-sourced reporting. This may mean changing long-held habits, but our country’s survival depends on truth.

As Abraham Lincoln stated on May 19, 1856: ‘Be not deceived. Revolutions do not go backward.’ We would all be wise to keep that in mind with the precious little time we may have left. There will be no second chance. The 2020 election may well be framed between Trump and Socialism and an out-of-control bureaucracy.

Data Acknowledges The Brutal Truth: There Is Only One Way Forward

Rod Thomson

Let’s be as apolitical as possible and reason this out. Based on what we have learned thus far of COVID-19 and a still somewhat foggy but clearing future, there is only one rational route to take through the lifting fog.

First, there are four important premises on which to form the base for making the decision.

PREMISE ONE: Perhaps the most important “given” to accept is that whatever we do, more people will die. This is the brutal truth that no politician or media preener is willing to say, but is the one truth we know more than any other. We need a full and honest understanding that there are no magic unicorn solutions available. Every option we have means people dying. This is the harshest of all givens. COVID-19, or our most extreme measures to shut it down, will continue to kill Americans. Accept this truth, and the choice becomes clearer.

PREMISE TWO: We have no idea when — or even if — a vaccine will be available. Those people who think we should stay shutdown “until it is safe,” are on a fool’s errand. That’s the unicorn search. It’s not possible, not with COVID-19, not with the flu, not with cars, not with swimming, not with virtually anything in life. The very most optimistic estimates do not have a vaccine ready until January, and it is unknown when it can be deployed to 340 million Americans. Waiting even that long, the shortest possible time, would create a catastrophe from which we may never recover, and possibly cost as many lives due to the shutdown as would be saved due to the shutdown. Death from heart attacks, strokes, suicides, drug overdoses are just as real as deaths from COVID.

PREMISE THREE: We have treatments we are developing, but as with other coronaviruses and the flu virus, they will help but they will not cure or stop. They are merely aids that are probably saving lives now. We will refine those as we move forward, but no one says they are silver bullets, simply tools for the medical professionals to use to help some patients. And the ones available anytime soon are available now.

PREMISE FOUR: So without staying shut down for a vaccine or treatments, there is only one reason left for a shutdown: to keep hospitals and the medical system from being overwhelmed. Well, we can now confidently say that has not happened and will not happen. It is one of the few things we can be sure about. Even as horrific as New York was, it never came close to running out of ventilators or ICU beds. States that did not shut down or only partially did fared even better. Florida, supposed to get as bad as New York and Italy, did not reach a fraction of those levels even with the elderly population. Hospitals laid off idle workers due to elective surgeries being banned.

Without vaccines, treatments or flattening the curve to help hospitals, what is the rationale for continuing the shutdown? Well, nothing. There is no longer a viable reason — particularly if you can accept PREMISE ONE. If you cannot, then you are stuck waiting for the unicorns, and destined for disappointment — we’ll have deaths either way.

So if we do not stay shut down, and we accept that more deaths are inevitable with any choice, what’s left?

We re-open. Everything.

With only a few locally-driven exceptions, end the shutdowns and target resources heavily on protecting nursing homes, creating multiple layers of protection, i.e. extensive testing for staff, no visitors who have not been tested within, say, 48 hours, immediate removal of anyone showing symptoms to a pre-determined location, and perhaps more creative measures. At the same time, keep allowing local decisions. So the New York City metro area may want to remain shut down. Local decisions will still serve residents best over a one-size-fits-all.

We realistically cordon off the vulnerable elderly, specifically targeting nursing homes, along with those with comorbidities, and everyone else returns to a form of normal life.

We will rapidly see some things happen. First, it will serve as a catalyst to achieve greater amounts of immunity among the healthy, which reduces the risk for everyone, while returning us to pretty full economic activity — depending on how long the devastation from the shutdown lasts.

One fairly rapid development should be the replenishment of grocery store shelves. The food shortage, which could become severe, is not due primarily to COVID, but to the shutdown in response to COVID that has disrupted many portions of the supply chain. If one link is broken, perhaps there is a workaround. But if several are, we find ourselves in a situation where farmers are letting crops rot and dairy farmers are pumping and dumping milk. The chain broke through the shutdown. But that food shortage is resolved quickly by re-opening, while perhaps providing extra protections for some areas such as meat processors. More resources will be available if we are open.

But other things will also happen, and this is the brutal truth and hardest part. Let the virus move its way through the healthy population, as Sweden is doing, as Florida and Texas and some small midwestern states have partially done. COVID becomes another risk in our lives, like the hundreds of others we face every day.

Other things will happen. The graphs that have become a part of daily life will curve back up and people will react fearfully and ignorantly.

An important element for this being successful with the American people would be confident, calming leadership, something in short supply. Following his norm, many of President Trump’s decisions have been right and helpful, and arguably better than many other world leaders. But his temperament at the mic and on Twitter can be harmful. It isn’t always. I like to see him punch back as much as the next guy. But that is the wrong tactic in this sort of environment, particularly as we re-open and the numbers start creeping back up.

As long as you don’t only imbibe the spin of the #resist media, with some exceptions, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is actually becoming the gold standard on this. Like Trump, he pushed back against shutting down, and then only did a partial one, and is reopening again. On policy, they have been akin. But in tone, DeSantis has been calm, reassuring, and in charge. In fact, some Florida newspapers have grudgingly admitted as much.

The Sarasota Herald-Tribune, one of Gannett’s more influential papers in the state and steadfastly opposed to much of what DeSantis does, editorialized:

“…the governor’s calm demeanor during a rough stint of on-the-job training, and his repeated efforts to place pragmatism above politics by weighing available data before making decisions, have been commendable. And, we think, helpful overall.”

The reality is the charts will start curving up for a while. But remember PREMISE ONE, any choice we make from here, continued shutdown or re-opening, is going to mean people die. There will be no “safe” time to re-open. We cannot wait until January or January 2022 or maybe never for a vaccine, or for fully effective treatments. There are no silver bullets or magic pills in near enough time.

But there is a quick death of our economy and even way of life looming, and a potential spiral downward no one can really see the end of. That is far too much risk when we now know that protecting nursing homes will really diminish deaths — by 40 percent or more — and re-opening will provide more resources for nursing homes.

So we weigh it all and accept the trade-offs, ugly as they may be. Because long-term — which precious few politicians think in terms of — this will be better for quality of life, livelihoods and quite possibly the actual number of lives saved.
